hi I got my test site uploaded 3 weeks ago and up until now yahoo and google has not yet indexed my site. I used a free hosting for this. Is it really hard to get a site indexed when using a free hosting?

get yourself an account with google webmaster tools.
    http://www.google.com/webmasters/

Then create a xml sitemap upload it and give it to google.

Usually this will do the trick.

Hope I have been some help

if you want to ping, just go to pingoat.com and load your site into the form and tell it to ping. Pinging it an update notification so SEs get calls to spider it. It doesn't work 100% of the time but it almost always does.
