How are your rankings in Yahoo and MSN?

hard to believe all this '' guru '' stories .... well atleast for me ... anyway , don't panic , just add regulary content to your site , and keep building links even if you slow down the process little bit but don't give it up , the sandbox effect even if is not officially reckon by G' it's real and loads of peoples reported it . Only time can fix this :)

Doesnt sound like sandbox to me but more like another of Google's random serp shuffles.

Since about January when Google introduced the brand update in the states it has regualrly been changing around the serps. Recently it has begun to do this in the UK too.

In the case of high volume search terms like 'credit cards' etc Google has been giving serp dominance to big brands. This didn't really bother me as I was never going to try to compete for such a term.

Recently however I've noticed Google playing around with a lot of the less competitive terms and it's quite hard to know what theyre up to.

Keep link building. Buy some high pr backlinks and you should be out in a few months.

It doesn't sound like it was sandboxed if it gets traffic like that and its been around for 6 years.
You say its no longer on the first page. Is it able to be found anywhere because falling off page 1 to go to page 2 or any other one is not getting sandboxed. Just means someone out did you.

That is a major change for the site... it will probably take a little while for G to accept this change and get you ranked well back up at the top again.

if u moved forum to sub-domian then that's biggest mistake which u did. Your url structure is changed now. now google has to reindex all new urls. I hold a good social bookmarking site. I did same like u did. Firstly google deindex my site and start indexing my new Url Strctured site again. whole process took like 3-4 months. Now my rank and traffic is stable.

i hope it ll help u to understand.

Ahhhhh ok yeah that makes sense. If I am understanding here correctly you did forum.com and moved it to othersite.com/forum
Google might see it as a duplicate sight as it still has your original site cached.
I did some similar testing on hubpages.
Made a page. Deleted it 24 hours later after it was happily #1 on google. Then put the exact same page with a different URL on hubpages. The second one was nowhere to be found unless i searched for the exact URL.
Took almost exactly one week before Google finally got rid of the first one and now I am back on page 1 with the same content.

If everything is exactly the same just give it a lil time. It should clear up on its own once google gets a clue.
