Anyway to fix this? One of my sites is pure html but it's been cloned and hosted elsewhere and now my site is no longer indexed but the copied site is!!

How can I go about getting it indexed again?

people who say "not indexed" usually mean "lost rank." If your site shows up with site:yoursite.com then you are indexed.

Google doesn't deindex for something like this.

    Google Alerts
There are a number of tools you can use to scour the internet and see if your content is being used without your permission. One of the best and simplest tools for this is Google Alerts.

You simply need to go to the Google Alerts website, put in a portion of your article, choose

How old is the website? I am only asking because if it is new, I have know many sites to be indexed, de-indexed and then indexed again.

OK, well, you'd be surprised at how many people get it wrong.

Is it indexed in Bing? If not, it's likely a technical issue on your site. If it is indexed in Bing, then you might have manual action. You can find that out in Search Console.

ah, ok, then it is likely a penalty but you can't "fix" it without filing a reconsideration request (and fix whatever google doesn't like).

The only other possibility is that a plugin or something like that is sniffing user agent and it's crashing.

If the other content went offline would my site get back on the index?

No, this wouldn't be the reason why you're deindexed. 1 site copying yours would not be a problem.

Add it to WMT and check for issues. Send a DMCA notice to the cloned site. If it doesnt fixed the issue, move your content to new domain and 301 old one to new domain.

There is really now way to know what penalty caused your site being removed from the G index without submitting it to WMT...

Yea, how do you know if its for duplicate content if you don't have WMT? Could be many other manual penalties that might have caused this.
