    Hi,

I have been reading a lot about Google Dance lately but I am not sure if my case fits to Google dance although it looks like it is, that's why I am writing to ask about your opinions.

I have a CPA related website that I built in May. It was a one page site and I added the general pages like "about, privacy, contact etc." I had a few target keywords for the homepage and started basic linkbuilding. The site steadily rose in the SERPs and got to #2 for the main keyword about two months ago.

Then, about two months ago the site started to disappear from the SERPs suddenly for a few days and come back and stay there for a few days. The site climbed to #1 during this dance but does not stay there more than 2 days. It goes away for a week or more and comes back for 1 or 2 days.

I don't know what to do to get out of this situation as I want to continue with my other CPA websites but I cannot do that without exactly knowing what I did wrong so that my site lost its stability.

The possible reasons that come to my mind:

    - I added a few PLR articles(10+) to the site but I am not sure if I did it before or after the google dance started.(Now they are deleted but the site still keeps disappearing)

    - All the backlinks are directed to the homepage. The anchor text is varying though.

    - There might be an issue on the site that I cannot identify, about hosting(Hostgator), a plugin(WordPress), or something like that.

    So, what do you think?

I have some other websites that I have been doing SEO but I never had such a thing with them.

I can pm the URL if anyone thinks they can help.

    Thanks.

This was discussed earlier here. This kind of dance has been happening to many sites since the Google mayday update. Add more quality content and build strong backlinks and your website will stay on the first page.

I have this google dance problem with some of my websites when I SEO them. Just backlink also to other pages on your sites, use other anchors. Write more articles for your website, add more images and videos.

You will see your sites will come back on #1 / page 1.

I searched the forum before posting this, I guess I didn't see that. If you have the link to that discussion, can you share please?

Did you have a site with google dance come stable after building more links and adding more content? Just asking for confirmation.

Same question goes to you as well.
