my seo plan... opinions needed

ok, i have a local keyword in my town that i want to rank high for in google.

my plan is
1. setup a blog with that keyword domain name
2. setup blogspot blogs with that keyword domain, with and without - between words
3. setup squidoo lenses the same way
4. ??
5. Profit

What are your opinions? The total results for this keyword are ~110,000
Any advice is welcome, I'll keep you updated on my status

i'm thinking about doing the same exact thing after reading a recent post in JR VIP. i'm also gonna use blogslammer to build backlinks and what not. with only 110,000~ competition, you shouldn't have a problem getting to the first page.
 
3. + hubpages and others similare minipages.
Also make youtube video.
Also try to find related article in wiki ( you will have good link for your site ).
Don't forget to ping your site.
Make Sitemap.
Make good articles with seo friendly content. Domains have potential, but not everything.

Try to make good content first.

Ok there is hubpages, what else? The only site in the top 30 is a propeller link and a blogspot link, none have the exact keyword
 
do some backlinking to your main blog too, and make sure you install a SEO friendly template & a SEO plugin! :) very little helps!

I have a huge blog SEO blueprint which i'm due to put into use this month (when i get all my content sorted). It'll be posted in Jr. VIP so don't worry. You can use it a treat though!
 
Utilize SENuke if you can. It will save you hours of submission time. The Social Network Nuke and Video Nuke work great for ranking high in Google.
 
SENuke is good and even more so for the competition you have. As for this blueprint jammie has got I will be sure to check it out when I get Jr VIP
 
hey jammie, whats the best way to build backlinks? I mean I want something semiwhitehat i dont want to use prstorm. and there are not really blogs on this topic i could comment to.

@ Biz senuke 4 is good I can get 25 decent social backlinks a day with it.
 
I'm interested in this, too. I have a few blogs which I want to get more popular so I can make off adsense. The thing is there aren't many blogs I can comment and I have commented already the ones I have. There aren't really diggable posts. I tried submitting articles with backlinks to goarticles, lets see how it goes. If you guys have any tips, please share.
 
Dont forget backlinking, bookmarking, youtube, maybe even a press release? forums for your town / niche aswell might be a good idea. Maybe even a few CL listings
 
You could SEO for 110k whitehat and probably get better quicker results to be honest, it wouldnt even take that long either with some well written artices and other good content.
 
Thats really not a bad plan but be more diverse. There are several other blog platforms out there like Twittr. You should buy a domain and set up a a site then link all your other blogs and mini sites back to the main domain. Thats what I have been doing and I have been dominating yahoo with my squidoo lens and my main website for my niche.
 
Your plan is ok but there is a lot more that you can do. For example you can utilize senuke. You could also try writing some articles and linking them to your blog. (btw if your articles are good enough they could dominate the SE rankings by themselves).
Also use bookmarking demon as thats a good tool as well. And don't forget youtube videos as they are effective as well.
 
I dont think I need SEnuke, just propeller gets that propeller in the top 10.
 
Here is what you do BizCredit you can have the number 1, 2, and 3 position within 24hrs or less--
1st- Write keyword rich article on the site you want to rank--

2nd-Open Digg account- Digg your article-- but do not shout to anyone unless you have a dedicated team that diggs any old garbage-- If you can get diggs even better though-- but not necessarily needed.

3rd- Submit your digg link to social bookmarking sites-- as many as you can-- there are some good ones I use but I am not about to air them for public kill-- many people may use them already if so good for you-- really only need to submit to 6.

4th- Create squidoo lens and include 1 link to your domain and one to your digg link.

5th- Create Hubpage and include 1 link to your domain and one to your digg.

I have become #1 repeatedly following this method in competitions of 6million and under-- So 100k is nothing-- This method might put your Domain close to your search bar-- you will be so far up-- LOL

Nah , the closest CL has for me is "North My state" very small city, I dont think there are any classifieds that would have it in the title
