    Hey BHW,

With the start of the New Year (Happy New Year Everyone!!! btw) I've decided to step up my internet marketing. I'm 24 years old, working as a supervisor in a cafe full-time and as a handyman for a small shopping plaza part-time.

    Quick Overview Of 2014:

Last year has been really crappy, lazy and unproductive for me: starting with loosing my only client, spending a lot of time and money on 2 ventures that failed, getting in debt which led to me getting 2 jobs - 1 full time and 1 part time. All that thanks to my laziness and inability to focus for more than 20 minutes at a time.

Now the good! In January 2014 I made around $2500 (from my client before I lost him...) which was my best month. For the rest of the year I was making on average about $500/month mostly on autopilot with small affiliate sites. My income has declined towards the end of the year because I haven't updated any material on my sites.

I know the basics of SEO. My sites have all been ranking for 1-2 years now and none were hit by Google updates. There is still a lot to learn for me but I have enough knowledge to rank for low and medium competition keywords.

With all that said here is my 2015 game plan:

So far I haven't done a single thing but starting today I promised myself to spend at least few hours per day.

My ultimate goal is to make about $4000/month by the end of July and $7000/month by the end of the year.

One thing that might complicate achieving my goal is school. I've decided that if I won't start making around $4000/month by the end of July I will be going back to school in September to finish my degree. I'm applying next week.

Anyways so here is the plan of attack:

-update my affiliate websites that already ranking in top 3 in Google (4 websites)
-build up and backlink my affiliate websites that sit on page 2-3 in Google (2 websites)
-revisit my old project which is a local dentist site that I can possibly rent out to on of the dentists in town (currently sits on page 5)
    -create more small affiliate sites
-create premium SEO services (MY PRIMARY GOAL)
-create more gigs on Fiverr and get more orders (I got 1 gig running that gets only 2-3 orders per month)
-create website that talks about SEO (I know there is a lot of them but I think I can give people somethings that others have missed)
-get active on social media where I will talk about SEO
-sell or give new life to one of my old projects (premium directory with keywords ranking on page 2-10 which needs more backlinks)

I will begin my work with updating my old sites so I can start getting some income first, then concentrate on creating premium SEO services and then...I will see what happens!

I hope this thread will motivate me to work harder as I'm going to update it every 1-2 weeks depending on how much I get done.

Happy 2015 BHW, may you all achieve your goals!

It looks like you have a lot of different avenues to reach your goal. If you stick with it, you'll reach it - especially since you already have some affiliate sites ranking. Creating a premium SEO service alone could probably help you get at least halfway to your goal pretty quickly.

Best of luck to you! :D I"ll be keeping an eye on this thread.

Yes I want to keep my options open at first and then see which way works better and brings in more money so I can concentrate on it better. Thank you! Good luck to you!

Good luck for 2015 plan, the plan looks big, but to reach that 7K$ per month level, you need to work hard and actually 'Implement' on what u have said, also i suggest to make some small targets as well, before aiming for this big target, as this ultimately leads to disappointment as it takes some time to reach that mark.

If I were in your position, I would clear my 'to-do' list of all except ONE project. Choose the most profitable one, and work on it...

Time spent on creating 'small affiliate sites' could also be spent on creating monsters that bring in $xx,xxx/mth.

In any case - all that is required to be successful in IM is to do something. So good for you :)

    Hi there,

I'm interested in your SEO Services Plan.

Since you said you know only the basics in SEO, do you outsource the services which you offer and how did you manage to land $2000/m client?

Do you offer local or some niche SEO services?

    thanks.

So if you don't reach $4K per month you go back to school. This sounds absurd.
I think you aim too high and you will be disappointed. Are you sure after you finish school you can land a job that pays more than $K per month? What are your affiliate sites about?
What were the projects that failed?
How did you manage to get paid $2K but could not find another client even for lower money?
I'm trying to understand your situation and your way of thinking.

That's the goal but even if I make few thousand less I will still be happy. All depends on how much time it will be spending on keeping that level of income. $7000 and working 10 hour days or $5000 and working 3-4 hours per day, I will take $5000 lol.

Yes I have set some small targets but sometimes its hard considering I have a full time job now.

Small affiliate sites is just to get some income first but yes I would really like to concentrate on 1 big project and work hard at it. We will see what happens! Thanks!

Well I know more than just very basics but comparing to people who rank for all kinds of hard searches I consider myself a newbie. Most of SEO I do myself but outsource small jobs here and there. Well it wasn't a $2000/month client. I worked on commission, so if my client sold anything through the website I would get the commission. So 1 month I would get a good pay and the other I would get nothing. That was a a local business.

Of course I won't get a $4000/month job right away but I will start my career and eventually will be making way more than that. Maybe it is too high. Once I get to the end of July I will decide what to do. And as it goes for my client, look where I answered to "vlaci" right above you.

Thanks for your reply. Just remember that a degree doesnt guarantee good salary. There are too many jobless people with a diploma.
