Over the years, I have used just about every social network along with every website or product I create or promote.

Along those years I have learned a thing or two, so I thought, hey Why Not Share?

(Feel free to add your own personal limits, purpose is for everyone to get an idea what everyone is working with in 2015 on SM)

The following contains my personal daily limits along with small tips for promoting safely on Social Media:

    Facebook:
    Likes: Under 100
    Hashtags per post: 4-5
    Posts Daily: 5-10
Comments: Have fun, no limits as long as it isn't link spam.

FB Tip: Facebook is keen to spam, most profiles put messages into the other folder, especially if you are not friends with someone. Mass adding is a waste of time, this isn't MySpace anymore.
Like other pages that will display your FB Like Page or Brand, Comment in great spots, and share at a level that respectable but not irritating.

People like a pages with a lot of quality posts, but not every 5 minutes.

To get likes to your like page, link and promote through other avenues. I personally never use FB campaigns. (Take this as whatever you please. I am all for spending money on IM, but not on FB campaigns)
Note: Obviously I have done it in the past.

    Instagram:
Likes: Under 50 an hour (max)
Follows: Under 30 an hour (max)
Comments: Under 10 an hour (depends but I spread it throughout the day)
Hashtags: 20-30 (Really only thing with no limit, keep it to 3-4 lines though. A 20 line paragraph of hashtags looks like sh*t)
    DMs: None (Alerts spam flags)

IG Tip: IG is the most liberal suspender, blocker, and banning SM network out of every Social Media Platform by far.

They will ban you for any reason they feel like: Following too quick, quick growth, huge follower base, too many posts, too many likes, too many follows.
I have seen them ban accounts just for getting to 100K, and making a single spam or shout out post that seems even slightly irregular.
The more followers you get, the more cautious you should be.

Suggestion: Make multiple accounts and/or do gradual growth and manual follows and likes and try to build up organically. The less warnings and suspensions you get, the better you will be after you make it big.

I use no automation anymore, whatsoever, with IG. Everything I do is on the app or another manual action. IG is just is too powerful and has so much potential to grow whatever you are doing, I would never mess with it, especially after you get established.

Linkedin: (Only one I have never used, if anyone wants to contribute I would love to paste it here)

    Myspace:

Connections: Connect to as many people as you want
Photos: Post as many as you choose
Comments: Comment as much as you want
Music: Share as much as you want

Myspace Tip: Myspace was almost built for spam. I have never received a warning from Myspace doing anything. Past, present, and I assume future.
I think they just want people to actually use the website. It is in general a waste of time, but if you make a profile, go nuts.
If you do get a warning just tone it down, I have never heard of an account ban unless the content is obscene. So have fun.

    Pinterest:

Boards: Make 20 a day (Don't know the upper limit)
Pins: Between 300-500. (Pin as much as you want. I am sure a limit exists, but I have never received even a warning)
Follows: Around 300 (I usually limit it to 300 so my ratio doesn't get too off balance, but also never received even a warning)
Posts: 50-100 (About as much juice as I have a day)
Likes: Maybe 1 (Almost no one uses likes. Just get some up every once in a while to show you're real)

Pinterest Tip: Warnings do exists for Pinterest, I have just have never gotten any. The site is built for pinning and sharing and liking, so you would have to be hard pressing your board or page to get one.

I stick to these limits just from reasonable thought on the topic, and I don't want to come across as over pinning or spammy to people who follow or 'repin' my posts. Otherwise, have fun.

    Tumblr:

    Posts: Around 5 a day
Hashtags: 10-20 (Try to keep it to two lines)
Reblogs: Anywhere from 5-30 (Just want to avoid your page looking spammy)
Likes: Under 50 (Just what I do, I don't know where you would hit a warning)
    Notes: Have at it

Tumblr Tip: As long as it feels safe on tumblr, it usually is. I would avoid having a spammy page, pick relevant reblogs, and just hope a post you make goes viral.

Never heard of a page getting banned. I am sure it happens, but for the most part you should be ok.

    Twitter:
Tweets a day: I do around 20 (Is pretty much unlimited)
Retweets: 50-100 a day, depending on the page (Is also essentially unlimited)
Favorites: Around 200 (Also, I believe virtually unlimited, I know accounts that do 1000 a day. There is probably an upper limit though)
Hashtags: 5-7 (You want to keep it modest and fit everything in 140 char as well)
DMs: I auto DM everyone I follow
    Follows: 500 Daily
    Unfollows: 500 Daily
    That's it right?

    Twitter Tip:
    • Twitter will almost let you do whatever you want.
    • Twitter suspends way more than it will ever ban a page.
    • Banning happens but it's uncommon.
    • The aged account rule is true, lenient with older accounts and bigger accounts. (Opposite of IG. The bigger accounts harder to get banned and have more benefits on twitter)
    • The 10% rule with adding new followers is true (10% of total followers you add to 2500 follow limit, use it to your advantage. Actual algorithm unknown, because it goes higher than that on aged as well)
    • Tweeting throughout the whole day continuously is beneficial. (I try not to minute live tweet though, only thing that seems to me as spammy from an account [unless you're Taylor Swift], so don't automate every minute of the day, space it out a bit, people who want to see you will see you and engage, don't worry.)
    • Shoutouts are either not against ToS, or if it is they don't care or don't monitor it at all. So shout away!!
(If I forgot anything let me know)

    Google+:
Follows or Add Circles: Under 50 (Usually I hit the limit at 50 so I try to stay under)
Posts: 5-10 (I am sure you can go higher)
Hashtags: 5-7 (Keep it to one line if you can)
Plus 1's: Under 50 (Probably can do more)
Shares: Around 20 (Just want to avoid it looking spammy)
Comments: Comment away (I do as many as I see fit for the day, similar to facebook)

Google+ Tip: Google+ Also really doesn't ban pages, but they do give limit warnings. So just obey them to avoid your account getting flagged.
They, like Myspace, just want people to use their network so they are pretty lenient. You usually just get a limit message if you hit one.
The only thing they don't like is spam adding to circles, so be cautious doing that. But that's about it.

    Snapchat:

Stories: Post 1-2 day (everyone does this, no need for anything more)
Daily Snaps: Less than 5 (People will block spammy snappers)
Chat: I avoid chat unless a question is asked

    Snapchat Tip:

Snapchat is great for some markets and worthless for others. When I do use this I follow those limits, not too much else to say, never had an issue.
Try to send group replies if you have a popular snap, seems more like you have a legitimate brand and maybe you do.

    Vine:
Only network I can truly say this for. Do. Whatever. You. Want. Enjoy the loops. (Stay away from obscene content though)

    Youtube:
Last but not least Youtube. Tough because it is not a traditional social network/but it kind of is/sorta became one/integrated with google+/important for SM marketing/you need to know stuff and limits anyway.

Videos a day: If you could make just one original video a day, every day for a year, you would be an IM king.
Comments: Unlimited. As everyone knows, do whatever you want. Waste of time usually, most comment sections are toxic, but feel free to comment away.
(It is beneficial for low view videos)
    Likes/Dislikes: Unlimited
Shares: Encourage as many people to share your video as possible.
Subscribe: I believe unlimited. (Never had a warning)

    Youtube Tips:

Youtube is pretty much only worried about copyrighted content. If you stay away from uploading copyright content, in general you are going to be fine.
Promote your video, page, subscriptions as much as you possibly can is completely fine. Otherwise anything goes, they seem to like free speech (one of the few website left that do, thank goodness) still which is awesome.
(They did not fall susceptible to the SJW's on reddit, digg, mashable etc., that pretty filter stuff that is not politically correct or Spam. So besides pornography, controversial material is fine and if it goes viral you are in great shape.)
(If you avoid copyrighted material, just about anything goes)
(Try to stay away from reuploading other Youtuber's videos. It is harder to get caught but still considered copyrighted material and you are better off making your own. Maybe it will be better? Try it out.)

    Bonus:

Reddit - Make quality posts, posts to appropriate subreddits, get upvotes, make content seem legit and not promoting a website, don't post duplicate content, also post to imgur, and in my opinion you MUST have multiple accounts all with link and comment karma and aged. Make multiple accounts today, the sooner the better.

Soundcloud: 250 folllows OR unfollows a day. Whatever you do, it's a 250 combined actions per day (24 hours reset).
    Reposts: Usually 10-20 is fine
    Likes: Around 50
Comments: Seems unlimited, probably around 5 a day.
Messages: Limited to about 30 (I try to get just under this, super powerful tool)

    Thanks guys

If I missed anything let me know, but I tried to hit everything that is utilized and purposeful in 2015. May change in the future. Thanks again!!

I agree with what you said about Instagram. Seems like they'll ban for anything so it's very important to remain off the radar as possible. When I started with Instagram I used macros to auto like and follow, got banned the next day. I re started and am using no bots at all, to me it's just not worth it

Yeah, no you are 100% right. They are super liberal with banning. You just have to work around it.

I have had maybe 2 accounts banned, both deserved it. But I have gotten warnings just for comments, that I manually commented that wasn't promoting anything and suspensions for those said comments.

IG is so powerful though, you need to use it, you just have to go slow and watch out.

Twitter is luckily owned by another entity entirely so go haywire on there.

I don't want to sound mean but don't post information if you don't know what your talking about. You said IG is the most liberal banner, but it is tumblr by far. They have stricter limits on every measure (except posting). That whole "feels safe then it is", doesn't fly with tumblr, you have to tighten that bitch down like a motherfucker.
