well ...my homepage is on first position of google for my main keyword...but i would like to add some keywords to the tilte to make it rank for more keywords too.

my website made google dance for about 10 days and after that it was placed on first spot and not moving from there....now i am scared to change the title of my homepage because maybe google could start dancing with me again.

what do you think about this?

I would create separate pages specifically targeting the other keywords you want to rank for

I wouldn't change the title at all,if its working, role with it and let it increase traffic flow.

    I agre with yoaussie2,

create seperate pages targeting your keywords, and remember if that new page ranks at bottom of page 1, then it will jump up to position two giving you the good ole double link

What do you mean with creating a separate page?
and are you gonna make it index with your main page for the same keywords?

it's called an "indented listing" and you will get it if your site has good on page SEO, and both pages of your site related closely enough to the keyword.

You will also likely need to build links to the second page (indented page) that you're wishing to get listed too.

According to my experience never do that. It will take another weeks to get back there.

never ever. even changing a little of your template will cause your site dropped from its previous rankings.

I remember in 2000 when I was a 14 year old I started to own a forum I was changing the title and all the keywords like daily and I was wondering my site does not have visitors.

Then I quieted to be a webmaster in 2004 because I was a failure webmaster.

In the last 2009 I heard about seo and I heard about DP and BHW then I knew that you must not change your title otherwise you will be fucked :)

    BHW I love u :)
