    Hey guys
My site didn't really get punched by Chuck Norris but if it did...
    Ok enough of that.
I made a site related to the new ipad and went straight up to page one with some on-site seo and a few things I have learnt from others.
It was there and I felt very proud of myself ( my first ever site BTW) and when returning to stroke my beard all over again- BAM...Chuck Norris knocked it off page 1, and page 2...in fact Chuck must have smashed it to page 60 cus I cannot see it anywhere!
I am not sure if this is common but I thought that if it had been bumped down through competition, it would have at least been on page 2 or 3.
    Any thoughts people?
Look forward to hearing from you.
    Barry

If it was a new site you often get a honeymoon period and a good place in SERPS until the search engines decide where you really belong. If you search this forum for the Google dance you'll find hundreds of posts on this topic. Don't panic add content and backlinks and your site / page should come back.

When Chuck Norris kicks the shit out of your site all you got to do is get Jet Li on your side and the fight will be more even.

Ah okay, that's good to know. I was just so excited to see that I had done something right and then it just dissapeared.
I am assuming that if I landed on page 1 before then I should stand a pretty good chance of landing back there when I build links.
Or is this just wishful thinking!!LOL
Thanks for the pointer though- I will search for this google dance thing.
    Regards
    Barry
