My opinion so far, Joomla vs Wordpress vs Drupal, what is yours?

I like wordpress over any other platform. Its not only very easy but straight forward too. With an extensive library of plugins and themes and available customization why to go somewhere else. Also it can be very extensive if you know good coding and under the hood stuff even if you don't the available plugins will do all the work for you without even requiring you to have much knowledge. For comparison you can check available themes for all the platforms and see how intuitive wordpress can be

i like drupal in all honesty. if you have a good web developer it can be simple to maintain and make minor tweaks to. Provided youre not looking for constant rethemes I think its best. Otherwise wordpress is always powerful with its masses and masses of bolt on extensions

I like the wordpress because we can do all kinds of work in wordpress using plugins. Wordpress is user friendly and easy to manage so you will not pay to developer to maintain the website.

Wordpress is the best. Themes install all features out of the box. Joomla, you need to install a lot of modules..etc to make the theme work like its demo.

There is no best platform out of the three. Different horses for different courses. Anyone can start a blog with wordpress and share their content with the world and be able to customize the site to a certain extent if they are willing to put in the effort. I have used wordpress to great effect.

Drupal and Joomla, are more complex and can be used to create more impressive sites but require more expertise and effort. I have seen small business owners using both platforms when they would have been better off using a Wordpress theme. Some people seem to look down on Wordpress for no real reason but snobbery, I have seen some killer sites built with all three major CMS platforms.

Wordpress all the way. If you want something more flashy, install a plugin, purchase a theme with the functionality built in and customize the design.
Install 5 mins or 30 seconds with backend software
Ease of use 10/10
Customization 7/10 like I said, you can achieve most things on WP with some programming skills, most of the time its already been done, just search for it.

[FONT=arial, sans-serif]Wordpress - Technically, the architecture is not too good, but it's not as convoluted
as Joomla. The biggest disadvantage is that it's insecure. In terms of usability, it's
great for blogging, and it can be twisted to work like a CMS, but it's not worth in my
opinion.

Joomla - I do -not- like the architecture, especially how the requests are made.
Sometimes when I'm working on it, I end up thinking what the core developers were
smoking when they made some of their design decision. Regarding usability, yes,
this is a proper CMS suitable for normal requirements.

Drupal - The architecture is clean and secure. Technically, difficult to learn working
with it. In terms of usability, great for implementing complex requirements.

I'd also suggest you take a look at the PHP frameworks like CodeIgniter, Yii and
-especially- Laravel. And if by any chance you've got a huge corporate client, then
Zend is going to be your best friend. :)

A couple of years ago I needed to start using a CMS to speed up site development for my clients, so started testing Joomla and Wordpress.

At that Wordpress had far less options than today, but seems it looked much simpler to install and tweak than Joomla, went for it. Plus you have a longer learning curve with Joomla.

I'm glad I choosed Wordpress. Nowadays you can virtually do anything with Wordpress. In a couple of minutes you have a site to go, there are thousands of professional themes and plugins to do pretty much of what you want, plus the support community is huge.

Can't really tell about Joomla, this is my experience with WP and I'm happy I made that choice.

For me wordpress is easier.
Second Joomla, a little bit more work to setup.
Drupal I never try before.

Wordpress all the WAY! Plugins + Easy to Use.. you can do wat ever u want with wordpress.
