i hired an seo team and after a couple months, i discontinued the project. i wans't obligated to remain with them but they got upset about why i didn't pay for the current month's payment. i found my own methods of ranking and i was doing well. but now i wake up and notice that i am no longer ranked for ANY keyword. even when you type xxxxx.com in google my page doesn't exist. what could they have done to do this? it was all fine yesterday night and i wake up today to this. when your domain isn't even showing up, something must have happened. was i sandboxed?

Well check your backlinks,is there anything there you haven't done or they didn't do when you were with them.Has the anchortext got strange words, pron words.
Has your backlink number spiked recently or dropped. These are the first ports of call to check.

You should not accuse them of something like that unless you are 100% sure. I imagine most SEO companies rely on customer reviews and reputation, so it would be a dumb move on their part.

It could be a penalty from your own link building.

well i have a newer site and i was using the same methods and nothing happened to it. but this site was like a year old. just seems to odd that it wouldnt happen overnight.

I am using YOAST plugin to submit my sitemap and i add a lot of articles in a day sometimes. Could that be an issue?

You could try getting a new domain and 301 the old one to the new one, i'm sure that would work but check first.

Any reason why you didn't pay for the current month?

What methods have you been using yourself?

Had a look at your current backlinks via Majestic?

If you don't even know the basics buddy, it might be a good idea to pay your SEO bill ...

I cant see an SEO company working towards getting you de-indexed simply because you no longer required their services.

Ya i was just thinking about that. And I don't believe the guy who said you can't come back. Just need to read up on it. So its not something the Seo team could have done overnight?

Maybe its the actual work your seo company was doing that got you de-indexed. There's so many ways this could have happened its hard to tell if it was their fault, your fault (your new method) or someone actually trying to de-index your site.

I will come back, if you could defeat bad backlinks within couple months. They just did a basic porn SB Blast, that's it. well it's really unprofessional from them, karma don't sleep

i can't believe this...the bastards removed me from google via the WMT! dammit man! i thought I revoked access to that site but I realize now I just removed them from my analytics account. i can't believe they would do this shit.

i now completely reversed removal but am I starting from scratch now or what? i was told that it will take weeks for me to get reindexed on google. what steps should i take to properly get indexed and get my ranks again?

If they indeed negative-SEO'd your site, then that's very unprofessional of them. It's not a very safe business practise either, because if they have their own website where they provide SEO services, it won't be long before those clients neg-SEO them back in retaliation.

I've removed my site and readmitted it all with a few days. It only took a day or two for it to be re-indexed. So I wouldn't worry about it taking weeks.

Also that's really fucked up they did that to you! I wouldn't be opposed to you outing this company to the community.
