Hi my name is Dominique and I am located in Quebec. I am launching my offline marketing company in a week and I am almost done writing my plan. I am pretty sure of what I am doing but I would need some experts to look at it and tell me what they think of it.

    Here is the summary.

Service offered : Primarily web design and online reputation management, secondly SEO and graphic design(if I can upsell it or if my customers ask for it, I won't advertise it)

Niche : Construction company( I consulted a sales consultant and he gave me some trick to really reach my target market : i.e. Offer turnkey solution with no hassle, fast turn around and a round price with all included)

Marketing plan(this is were I need help the most)
-Build 4-5 websites that will constitute my portfolio and that I can sell at first for around 2-4k each
    -Facebook marketing.
-Don't do SEO(i checked the competition and as you know it is pretty impossible to rank for these keywords)
-Direct mail( send letters using the 7878 method specifically for ORM)
-A youtube channel and a blog where I give advice and explain why it is important to position yourself properly online.
-Hire salesmans( I know one guy who can sell for me, he even sold a wix website for 3k once XD! My jaw dropped when he told me that)
-Post on Kijiji and Craiglist for easy/free traffic.
-Cold call myself(especially at first once the ship is ready to sail).
-Go to business meet-ups and events, also offer a 10% commission for all business they refer to me.
-Get in contact with associations in my niche(for construction it would be the construction association of Quebec. The sales consultant told me this could be a referral gold mine.

Alright guys please give me your honest review, I would also like people to specify if they ever made money doing this. I will welcome everyone opinion but I would like to hear from seasoned offline marketers first.

    Thank you very much.

You sound ambitious and motivated. I don't see why you should have any problems if you stay that way.

I am living in Longueuil, I plan to target Montreal and the surronding area. Hehe yeah I am going after construction companies only(for the moment), I heard it is better to do so than to offer web solutions to everybody. That way I can be more meaningful to my target audience when they read my marketing material.

Ranking in Montreal won't be easy, but it can be done and the payoff would be huge for any construction company there. I've ranked local sites in the hardest cities in America. I would stick to one review per month and in 9 months you'll have more reviews than Enterprises Cam Construction. Get backlinks and citiations and dont quit till your on top!

Best step of action now: Is to take action and execute all ideas. You need to get a "feel" of how the business works firsthand. Try, learn, do, re-do, learn do, repeat. Soon you'll know what works, where you should be spending your time, and how to scale your business efficiently.

Sounds like you know what you're doing! When I first started my own business, I was running around like a chicken with its head cut off, freaking out about the slightest things. Wish I would have had a better grasp of what I was getting into like you do. You will do fine. Good luck! :)

You want to do graphic design too? There's some pretty capable designers on Fiverr and PPH, maybe hit one up and offer him long term contracts yea?

Offer 20% bro. It will make people want to send you biz if you up the anti. The Lifetime Value of the Client is worth much more than that.

I am working on it offline right now, its almost done. I will let you know when it goes live. I am using a HTML and CSS3 theme since my coding skill are rudimentary to say the least...I was wondering if I would have any problem using themes for my clients, even if I hire proeficient coders, I just figure it would save a lot in terms of cost. Any one using template for their contracts?

Well I will integrate it to my offers but I won't be prospecting to find graphic design client. Most of my marketing will be directly targeted and will offer a ''complete web design/ onlire reputation management / optional social media pages design package with graphic design included(plus a 300$ fee for a logo), all other graphics will be included. I will accept clients who need graphic design but I won't be advirtising to them.

You're right, thats a bargain when you think of it. What up-sell strategy could you or anyone suggest?

    Your plan looks great.
Please post updates on your success.

On a side-note, anyone know where to find good salesmen?
