So I just started this new technique yesterday. I thought to myself (Jason I really hate writing articles, or taking existing ones and spending the time spinning them? What can I do!) Then I figured that since most of the content on the web is in english why not just take existing articles and translate them and target traffic of foreign speakers!

Great! Problem is, I am still kind of lazy. In comes the help of Yahoo! Pipes!

I haven't seen any results yet as I just started yesterday but this is my process.

1.) Pick a feed you want to translate
2.) Login to Yahoo! Pipes and setup a pipe to translate your feed into another language
3.) subscribe the translated RSS feed to your email through feedmyinbox.com
4.) have your inbox forward all the feedmyinbox.com mail to your blogger.com email

Now your done! Tons of unique fresh content in a foreign language added to your site daily!

I just started yesterday, I am HOPING this will show some results? I would appreciate your input and thoughts on my method and wether or not you think this technique would work or not!

wheres the new part? read up every thread about autoblogs, translated content already exists ;)

This technique solved all of my problems. Thanks mate.

One more thing though, if you'd be willing to show me how I can use Yahoo Pipes I'd really appreciate it ...

Thanks advancedfuture.

I dig this idea. Gonna try it out. Haven't used Pipes yet.

Does Google have something similar to Pipes? Anyone know?

sounds like a nice technique, didn't know about pipes. thanks for sharing it with everyone

i think it would be pretty tough to seo in a different language, but who knows... Where would you ping? where would you submit? how would you link it, etc etc.. what will you promote..

He wasn't suggesting to do SEO in another language, he just said to go to yahoo pipes, make use of their scripts and automatically create a translated version of your feed ( tip: german to english works best) and use the newly generated feed to get some fresh unique English content.

Hope this helps.

no cristianraiber, he's doing it the other way around. He's getting English content and translate it to foreign language. The problem with this is, translator sucks big time. If you don't speak that foreign language, you will have no way to proofread/check the output of those articles

Well, if you put some adsense ads people only will have to ways of going out of the blog: or clicking an add or closing the browser. It could work.
Thanks for sharing it.

kinda weird if i do say so myself :D But if it works for you, than by all means maybe you found a gem

the beauty of it is the people will be sick of your writing and may end up clicking on ads. this will not work for affiliates I think:cow_yello
