This is just a referral spam and you can ignore it. Altho having clean view in your analytics is pretty useful, so create new view, check in your webmaster tools that google should filter out known bots and search google for "block referral spam in analytics" for some simple filter implementations.

As for why and how: Google analytics code is not protected in any way and implemented with javascript so bots just call random analytics IDs giving you false impression of someone actually visiting your site (tho in most cases there were no requests to your host at all), this way small webmasters are often lured into checking out these spam sites just to see for example: tons of redirects (which can be used for example for selling website views), malware or cpa offers.

    Hey

This looks like Ghost spam, so its not actually hitting your site but is impacting on you analytics.

Its easy enough to remove this by adding a filter on your analytics, not sure if this is the best way but seems to work for me.

Go to the admin panel on your analytics

    Under the view select Filters

    Select Add Filter

Put a name, filter type as custom, select exclude and select campaign source.

Add the filter pattern such as URL|URL|URL|

    and then click save

For sites that are tripping up Negative SEO you can use the Disavow tool provided by Google

This seems as referral spam, it will not affect your site badly but dash against your analytics. To avoid this you can webmaster tool to filter those unknown referral links.

Since bots call analytics ID's at random they have no idea what is the actual site behind called ID so you can remove most ghost-referral spam with single filter.
Create custom filter -> select Include -> choose Hostname as filter field and specify your domain (or domains if you are using subdomains, you should also put popular embeds there like translate.google.com) eg. yourdomain\.com|subdomain\.yourdomain\.com|translate\.google\.com

That more than anything is junk mail, but it is nothing to be feared because they do not affect your site, but if there are plugins that will help you avoid them.
