    Hi Guys,

I have had an idea for a new website, its nothing new or inspirational and I'm sure a lot of people (including members of BHW) are already doing it. However it is in an area I am only just learning about and would therefore appreciate a bit of a brainstorm on the idea and get any tips/advice from people already dabbling in this arena.

I want to create a membership site that offers its members a combination of paid surveys, freebies, coupons and free to enter competitions. The members area will be loaded with as many CPA offers as I can find from as many networks as possible. The idea being I get people to sign up and then offer them ways to make money, save money, win stuff and get free stuff. As I said nothing new but something which I would guess would be in big demand in the current financial climate.

I want to set it up as a paid site for maybe $40 and will show this on the home/squeeze page. However I intend to offer people free membership through various advertising methods so I can say they are getting something "worth" $40 for free. If anyone does sign up for $40 then that is an added bonus.

So that's the idea, before I go any further I have a few issues to resolve....

Is this a workable model and a worthwhile project ?

Would the CPA Networks allow this kind of site ?

What membership/directory software should I use to make setting this up easier ?

Are there any other types of offers I can give to my members ?

Should I go for a professional looking design or cheap and nasty like most sites I have found in this market.

Please hit me with any comments, suggestions, criticisms, ideas, etc

    Thanks in advance.

    David aka Supahoopsa

PS I was searching around and found a good example of the kind of site I want, albeit not set up as a members site.

    Hi David

I tried this about 3 years ago but didn't have the tecky ability to make it happen but it could def work

I went to your sample site and clicked a few links to see where the offers were from and they showed up, so at least you can see where this site gets its offers, or some of them anyway.

i would do exactly what your doing here and get some more expert opinions before investing too much time and effort

    os....

I'd always go with a solid design over a shitty one, but I'm an alien.

Yeah, apekillape is right, people tend to think that sites with beautiful designs were created by professionals, so those sites must be authority sites otherwise how would they have a design like that.
