    Hi guys,

I built a new site where users pay a subscription ($28 per month) to watch instructional videos about giving women orgasms. The videos are made by women, and follow 13 techniques we learned from a 6,000 person study on the topic of women's orgasms.

I'm toying with different ways to send traffic here.

    What would you do?
How would you get in touch with people who have dating site traffic?

Sorry for the beginner question. I'm obviously an (eager) nuube.

    There are many ways.
Media buy on sites that deals with such topics or close enough to get conversion. Even adult site will do.
    Email marketing - solo ads.
    SERP.

Yea, i tried audlt traffic, and could hardly get conversions. Horney dudes want to wank, rather than learn how to please women it seems.

    Also doing SERP.

But any crazy black hat tactics for getting a ton of traffic? Or ways of finding people who have dating traffic?

    WRONG.

Horny dudes want to get laid. I'm confident that adult media buys could work for you - hell, look at the companies pushing viagra pills on adult media buys.
You just need to tailor your ads to attract the right attention and to give the right message to guys browsing these sites.

Focus on a message like 'You'll get laid constantly if you can keep a woman satisfied' or something along those lines.
Then test landing pages to get the ones that convert highest to payers.

You say you tried adult traffic, but did you REALLY try it? You need to invest in testing different ads, different landing pages etc and actually spend some cash to see a return. How much did you spend on media buys? If we're talking like $50 - $100 it would be easy to see why you didn't see a return...

    Hey Kickthat

Awesome response. Thanks a ton for that.

I spent about $3,000, and optimized to reduce by CPC by like 80%. I got a lot of traffic but it was bouncing at like 95%. I assumed it was the traffic, but may have been my landing page.

    I used Jucyads, and Exoclick

Have you had a similar experience? Do you do a lot of porn ads?

It can grow with organic process and and paid process as well. For organic You have to register and maintain 400 social media sites (macro & micro sites). Apart from this you have to use proper tags and FB galeery post, group post and image post. Now exchange websites or post content on other adult blogs with good writing but with profile link not include your website link directly.
After these or simultaneously you can use paid media (e.g adwords, pinterest & display network campaigns).
Now You ready to see Your ROI from it... :)

Is this actually a product you have produced and you own? It's a bit strange to produce a product before you work out what the market is for it.

If it is yours and it's any good it probably needs to priced higher to make media buying worth your while.

You can buy members area dating traffic, do a google search. Best option would be to contact the owners of dating/seduction programs and negotiate for them to do a mailing for you.

If you have non nude/non sexual landers you can try native ads, they can work well.

Yeah, I've got experience with this industry. Not quite the same niche as you're in, but porn traffic can convert.

With a high bounce you definitely want to play with different landing pages. Not sure how you're doing it at the moment, but test big differences like a direct signup funnel vs email submits. Benefit of catching emails is you can throw different offers out to the same people over time. Once you've determined which methods get the most subscribers, start smaller tweaks to improve it further. Always split test one landing page against another before making radical decisions.

I've used both Juicyads and Exoclick. Just from my own experience Exoclick was crazy high cost per conversions and it would have taken me some time to get that cost down. Lots of their adult site are awful and I suspect a lot of fake traffic. Best network I found so far was Traffic Junky - takes a bit of getting used to, but the cost for conversions is a lot less than Juicy or Exo. TJ is CPM though, so you will need ads that catch attention and get a decent click through - it's a bit of a different beast to CPC networks.

Biggest thing is to keep tabs and track things effectively. Know what your customer lifetime value is - how many months do they generally subscribe for? This will let you know how much you can afford to pay for a new subscriber and will dictate whether a certain ad network is working for you. Break down the sites that are converting best from the networks you use, the ads that are working best and the landing pages, and tailor your advertising on that basis. With networks like JuicyAds and Exoclick it's probably best to pick a few sites that are of higher quality, rather than some of the utter shite sites that are on those networks. Stick with sites with fewer ads as well.

We use custom tracking that uses the tracking parameters that he ad networks let you send through to your landing page, but from what I have seen of services like Voluum the same could be achieved through that pretty nicely.

If I were you I would sit down and map out a nice way of tracking this effectively, considering all the different areas that you can tweak, and give yourself a bit more budget to put into it - without breaking the bank, so make it an amount you would be comfortable loosing as an investment to see whether this can really work for your niche. Set yourself an acceptable cost per signup and work to get to that. By the time you've got through your budget you should know whether the CPS and a profit is achievable and you won't be left wondering if there was any way you could have improved it.
