My Method to $XXX-$X,XXX,XXX

I posted this before but it got taken down for me ACCIDENTALLY re-posting while trying to fix it, sorry. I am new to this forum and would like some input on this method.

Methods that I twisted together

$7500 in 3 days exact A to Z method

MY VERSION

1. Go to HostGator.com and set up a hosting & domain re seller account.
-set up website
-set prices (14.99-Shared Hosting), (16.99-VPS Hosting) etc.

2. Target business that have really bad website designs. Do this by google searching
?Powered by Yahoo Web Hosting + Location? wherever your location is

3. Stay organized and create a list in google spreadsheet and excel and organize all the leads you get by
-website name
-adress
-phone number
-email
-contacted yet
-followed up

4. Contact leads by email and mail using 7878?s mailing strategy, saying that you are a new web design company and are looking for business that would be interested in a FREE website redesign. Tell them that this offer in not spam you are just a new company looking to build your initial portfolio. This could benefit you and them.
-attach a side by side view of their current crap Yahoo website, with a mockup of what their website could look like

5. If they are interested (Which they should be) and respond back to your email or letter. Tell them, that for us to start working on their redesign they have to go sign up for a new domain and hosting at YOUR hosting reseller company. Tell them, once they send you the details, (username and password for their hosting) you will start to design their new website for FREE.

6. Their websites were simple to begin with, you can create simple 3 page psd mockup of their website and hire a Fiverr gig to convert it to html for you to make it easy and then upload their website to their hosting account that they purchased. Or you can do it yourself to save money.

7. They get a new website for free, and you make a stable monthly profit offering hosting and a domain. Rinse and Repeat.



SCALING
10 account signups x $14.99= $149.90/month profit = $1,798/year
100 account signups x $14.99=$1,499.90/month profit = $17,998.80/year
1000 account signups x $14.99=$14,990.00/month profit = $179,880/year
10,000 account signups x $14.99=$149,900.00/month profit = $1,798,800/year
-Minus your monthly reseller cos

wow, that's how people act on this forum. No wonder people go crawling to WSO. Like I said I made a mistake before in my original post and it got taken down because of that mistake. How many times do I have to repeat that?

This kind of method requires a LOT of work. And anyone willing to actually put this much effort into something might as well just go that slight extra mile and sell actual products and services for $300+ / month to clients rather than trying to get Hostgator sales for $14 / month.

I suppose there is nothing particularly new about the method, but it certainly can work, and I don't think mocking up a website design is particularly hard - though it would be on that scale, so it could help to have a couple design templates to demonstrate prior to getting the sales. You obviously don't want to do mockups for thousands of emails you will send.

Anyway, the thing I didn't miss on the method is the residual elements of having monthly recurring revenue from the hosting - which you are providing through your reseller account. Having been a reseller in the past I see value in the method. It is a bit of work, but coupling it with your suggestion above of selling the higher end services such as SEO can provide even greater residual returns.

Props. Still a good working method.

You really choose a bad way to enter BlackHatWorld.
I would not recommend telling a business that "this is not a spam"
because you put "spam alert" in there minds if you have to say that in my opinion.
BTW what were you attempting to gain from this thread?

Good Idea,But there are better ways to generate more income,if you find a client ready for web design and hosting.

I don't think there are much Yahoo Webhosting websites left. I searched for a niche and got about 20 plumbers that have this crappy pages. I don't know about other niches, but if there are only 20 plumbers from all over US with YW design, chances are that in your location there are few websites that use this design, if any.

Even 1 client is hard to get nowadays.

Then talk about 10,000 of clients?
