After reading through this thread, I thought I'd give the TikTok CPA "method" a whirl.
I'm using an old account I made back in the day but never really used. It was already set up as a "business" account, so I could have a link in the bio.
The niche? Men's essentials. I didn't want to overthink it, so I aimed broad instead of going super specific and ending up with little traffic.
Got back on the account on September 19th, to be precise. It had a big fat zero for followers and likes. Set up a pretty "basic" linktree, all with Amazon affiliate links. Also, I've thrown in a Facebook pixel for potential retargeting later on (you never know).
I'm dropping 2 videos daily, one in the morning and one in the evening (GMT+1).
So far, I've put out 9 videos. They ain't getting tons of views (ranging from 600 to 5.7K), except for one that hit 49.6K.
I did sponsor that one a bit at the start (dropped 16 euros for 9000 views), then organic traffic did its thing, and it shot up to 49.6K.
On the Amazon side, I've had 232 clicks but no sales. Maybe I'd do better with a shop? But, honestly, setting up a whole store feels like a hassle. Still, it's up for debate.
I'll keep posting vids and keep y'all updated (I'm only 3 days into this thing).
If you've got questions, tips, or anything else, don't hesitate to holler!
