I have a landing page with a lot of content on it, yesterday I checked the PR (never did this before, why would I do it with a landing page?) and it showed PR5, I was like huhh? so I checked with a few other sites and I was amezed my site was PR5 now I know google is freaking out at this time. but the links build to the site are pretty good. lot's of link wheels and pyramids done with AMR, BMD, Sick submitter, magic submitter and SEOnukeX also a lot of .EDU and .GOV links this site was the first on I did SEO on and pretty much did a lot of it. but now my question, it is a niche site and there are a lot of CB products to promote in the niche,. should I make another sales page and turn the site in good review site?
I guess it can't hurt, but PR doesn't constitute how well you'll rank for a keyword. There are a lot of sites out there that have pr 5 with 0 UV.
Can you show me one website that has PR5 with O UV. And KlaAz0r you should wait few days because google can change PR at any moment again.Or you can make a website but sure with good content.
I'd say "hell ya!" as long as your change to a website wouldn't hurt your conversions on your landing page. There are ways to get around that though via creative linking on the sales page which normal users wouldn't click on or get distracted by. I'd recommend creating other pages on the site targeting additional keywords, and then backlink those a little bit as well. That way you've got other sources of traffic from Google outside of just your landing page.
I don't want to publicly give out my sites, i'm sure you can understand. But I have a lot of subsections that PR 5-6 and get 0 UV per day.
Yes I wait some days of course, I am not sure how google will act the next weeks but PR5 with good Backlinking should have a good chance of #1 in google right?
PR doesn't mean anything anymore. Look, with a new site, I can post to 5-10 sites that are pr 5-6 and on the next PR update, i'll get a pr5 on my site. I've tested this multiple times.. If you don't believe me try it yourself. Don't want to rain on your parade, but that's just the way it is.
