my kw got beaten by new website with no backlink

for SEO guru here, maybe you can help me a little bit, as I'm quite confused.

There are 2 sites : site A and site B.
site A (rank 1)
kw mention 26
long tail kw got mention 1
another long tail kw got mention 10
page speed : 6.3s
DA : 1 PA : 5
TF : 0 CF : 0
created : 2019-05-23

site B (rank 13)
kw mention 30
long tail kw mention 10
another long tail kw mention 6
page speed : 4.7s
DA : 8 PA : 35
TF : 7 CF : 33
created : 2018-05-21

As you can see, site B is more superior in any way, but why it's got beaten by site A?
Any advice is greatly appreciated!

Because relevance is greater than the authority of a site.
If site B is more relevant than yours, it will position itself better even without a backlink.
Quality content is also a factor of good ranking.

He just hijacked your content and now if you want to recover I would suggest homepage pbns, and adding some fresh content then you’ll easily be able to beat him

From my experience, user experience is key at the end of the day. Even if one website has more backlinks and more keywords they will still be beat by a website that offers better and easier to read information. Just some food for thought. Cheers mate

“No back links”
- that you can find... they could have hidden PBNs. Could be using hacked links, or any combination.

Da/PA/TF/CF/BC/XY are all irrelevant when it comes to search rankings.

Does your site rank for other terms?
Does their site rank for other terms?
- this helps in ranking for search terms. I have a site that ranks for keywords because it is already for a bunch of super low search, no competition terms.

Is this an orphan post on your site?
Is their site built around relevant keywords?
- this helps build total relevance of the site, which helps tanking. Even if the other posts don’t rank for those keywords, it helps. Especially with inner-linking of those posts.

the “stats” you provided are a tiny tiny snippet of what ranks.

This says a lot about your website in the sense it needs a lot of work and optimization.

After checking it more deeply, looks like site A got a lot of supporting articles than site B.
I will create supporting articles too, maybe I will update this site the results.

Relevancy for that particular keyword
How his website is presenting that information.
Is superior to you
