I'm not sure if this is the correct place to post this, however I would like to state that the page that I'm setting up is for a keyword that does not exist. The Main-Keyword and the Sub-Keywords that I'm using aren't even logged in google-planner and are showing the following data for Keyword Planner.

Name - Avg. monthly searches - competition - suggested bid - Ad impr. Share
    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
    MyKeyword -blank - blank - blank - 0%

I'm curious as to if this is a good thing, or a bad thing.

My key-word is something that is probably not searched very much currently, but it's only a matter of 3-4 months before it starts booking with exact-match searches. Is having the Key words in use long before they become popular a good thing, will this help with my SeO?

Because of this, I can't even get my page ranked on google it seems, I'm trying everything short of spending money. There are not any additional search-terms or Ad-Groups for my Keyword either.

Also, because of this it seems that the traffic that is directed to my site right now, the CPC I'm getting is $0.02 average, which hurts, bad. Is this a result of the key-word not being in use at all, currently?

EDIT: My keyword consists of Two words, if I only use the first word of the keyword, monthly searches are at 4,400 with low competition. This is a fairly unknown product that's about to explode. (Or atleast it will in my personal opinion)
    Discuss, please.

What happens when you type it in Google Search? Does it come up with anything?

Google planner is new, so there may be bugs, If you think it is a market that will start growing and people will start searching soon, than yes start SEO on it. But you're saying you can't rank it? Why?

The new keyword planner has lots of bugs and is basically unusable at this point.

Recently I looked for a combination of two VERY competitive keywords and it said zero too....

Are you sure its a real word
    anyway
    its neer a good idea
to build a site around a keyword with no searches
Unless your building a Brand Name

When I search my key-word into google, quite ironically something that has NOTHING to do with my product comes up. If i type my entire domain into google, the same product that comes up when I search my keyword appears. It's not my exact keyword however, the product just has a similar name. It looks like it's fairly popular however, as the first 20 pages of google are filled with it. It's a pizza parlour. Who knew. The game that I'm trying to build a PR review for is hardly known, it's had a kick-starter campaign and has not started advertising yet.

This is really getting annoying, and it's difficult for me who is just starting to know what's safe and what's not to invest into.

It's actually a "review" for a game that being developed that I have some inside information on, it's been in development for about two years now and is nearing a 5million dollar advertisement budget. Granted that's probably not mutch compaired to some MAJOR gaming companies, it will surely get it looked at and people searching for a review of it.

Google planner is very poor. I put in the term "finance" 5 minutes ago and it came up with nothing.
Like a lot of things they do - the rhetoric is grand, the performance is nothing short of complete crap.

Probably get better in time, it's new, but for now it's not something to rely on.

The overall feedback about the new keyword tool is dismal. Google has this big gun pointed straight at their feet and they don't get tired of shooting themselves apparently.
