Don't let my join date fool you, I barely ever browsed this site. Whenever I tried IM, I would fail and give up easily but I'm in it for the long haul now since I don't want to go to school or end up in a dead end job.

I plan on gaining lots of followers on twitter, instagram, tumblr and lots of likes on facebook. Some other offline business ventures too. I know social media sites aren't very profitable for most people but I don't know much about building websites and I'm gonna use the money I make this year to invest in websites and etc... in the future.

Wish me luck guys. I'm gonna update this thread regularly.

Good luck in your journey and keep us updated frequently!

Some people here are very successful with Social Media promotion, so even if you have no experience building websites it'll come in time.
Once again, best of luck to you, and don't give in when the going gets tough :)

Best,

good luck man.
looking forward to your updates.

5000 in a year isn't that much...so i really believe you can make it happen.

how many hours do you plan putting in per week?

Thanks, I know it isn't that much but considering the fact that I've been virtually flat broke the last 2 years, it is to me lol. I plan on putting 8+ hours a day. As much time as it takes to achieve my goal.

i would suggest doing some freelance work.
i do it part-time and i still break the 15k/year mark.

give me a PM if you need some pointers.

I just bought scrapebox. It was a little over 50$ but from what I've read, it's worth it. I hope to make my money back in at least 3-4 weeks.

Here's a simple formula for a 8 hour day, 5 days per week:

3 hrs---Join Textbroker, write 3-4 articles a day. ($20)

1 hrs---Join Fiverr, resell 2-3 $5 gigs a day on eBay, CL etc for average net of $15 each. ($30)

2 hrs---Contact 20-25 businesses a day, online and offline about creating/improving a site for $200, complete 1 deal/wk. ($200)

2 hrs---Build one monetized micro-niche (MNS) site a week (Mon-kw research, Tues/Wed-write 4-5 articles, Thur-setup site/blog, Fri-initial backlinks). Monetize 2-3 ways with Adsense, IPAs (affiliates that pay direct to Paypal), Amazon, CPA etc. If decently constructed they should yield $20/mo ea on up.

The writing or freelance earnings are high percentage, as you control the production. The reselling money is almost as assured, depending on your picking popular services known to be worth much more than $5, and using highly rated gigs. The offline website creation is iffier, but still in the easy zone, especially once you get better at using efficient methods of reaching businesses. So that's $250-$500 a week most weeks, and after a year your passive earnings from 50 MNS blogs should be about $1000/month on the low side.

Thanks for this, this is a very detailed schedule!

I hit a bit of a road block. I'm staying in the states on a visa so I don't have an EIN and SSN number so I can't sign up to any networks and I can't get a job. I can't make as much money on amazon/ebay because once I do, they'll ask for one too. I have scrapebox and I'm thinking of doing gigs on fiverr but that won't be enough. I've considered offline gigs but you still need a little money to toy around with that.
