Hello blackhatworld!
Let me tell you about myself a bit, I do not know any skills that can be monetized in the digital world (I am an electrician) but I know my way with computers and some softwares, so, after reading your good forums I came up with an idea that made me some passive income (I just started because the approval process takes a bit).

The summary of what I did:
Upload SFX (Sound Effects) packages across the unity platform, meaning I am selling assets for video games, commercials, movies etc.

The internet is full of sound effects (you can even record them yourself) I just grabbed a bulk downloading software like jdownloader, configure it to download only mp3 or wavs format, bulk removed the tags of the audio files (so it would not appear the original artist, album etc), made them a pack, for example: power tools SFX, and then upload them via Unity Software.

After ~30 days to waiting my packs were approved and as you can see in a few days I already got some sales. Will keep making packs and upload them.
The beauty of it is that the sound effects are so short and generic that no one can claim that you ,,borrowed" from them.

Good luck! Even though it's not much work for you now, you could definitely fully automate this if you wanted to in the future.

What you mean by approval takes time?
Where? On Unity page/platform?

Is it one time process or they have to verify each time you upload new pack?

Approval for each package that you upload takes 20-30 days, if the package is not okay (bad description, media etc), the revision takes 3 days
On unity asset store.
They do the checking every time to make sure the meta data is ok.

How much do you price each pack? How many items does each pach contain?

What do you use to remove the tags of the audio file? How can you upload a sound pack on Unit? It seems a good idea to make some money btw, well done!

I use mp3tag software for bulk removal of tags. You need to download unity and the asset store addon. There is a pretty good tutorial on unity website. If you need help, pm me

Thanks for answering my question. I have a few more if you dont mind.
- Are you mass uploading ? or have you only uploaded a couple of packs?
- Do you design unique images for every pack you upload?
- What are you using for the video link?

I only have around 10 packs (less than 1 month old)
Yes, I download what I need from pixabay and edit using photoshop
I use vegas to render a full video and then handbrake to reduce the file size (upload max capacity is 500mb/file)

you render a full video of what though? u just put every audio file from the pack into vegas, render it and then upload it to youtube? cant people just download the video instead of paying lol

I uploaded it directly on unity not on youtube. Even if they manage to download it, they need to waste a lot of hours to cut and render every second to get every single sound effect.
