Hi, I?m Kate! I?m a huge lurker and I must say that more than 50% of my time on these forums are spent on the Journeys section. I?m new to internet marketing. My ultimate goal is to quit my day job and support my way through college without student loans. I?m getting started right away. I?m starting a blog where I?ll post at least twice a week. I have 17 keywords ranging from 800k monthly searches to 3k monthly searches. I?ll primarily drive traffic through social media with Pinterest, Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, and Google+. Daily To-Do List Pinterest 15min - Pin recipes, progress pictures, diet motivation 15min - Comment on, like & re-pin other users pins I will always write my own comment and captions, especially when I re-pin on other content. I feel that it?s important to be unique and establish my brand. Twitter 15min - Favorite, re-tweet, and reply to tweets by industry leaders 15min - Get involved with active consumers, send & reply to DMs I?ll primarily use Twitter as a b2b tool to build relationships with experts in my niche. Facebook 15min - Check groups & liked pages in my niche so I can aggregate content 15min - Post on my page at least once per day I need to be sure to keep up on Facebook, because it?s one of the most visited and it?s easy to get buried and forgotten. I don?t want to stop showing up on people?s feeds! Google+ & Instagram 15min - Respond to niche-related news & comment on posts on Google+ 15min - Post my own pictures & comment on others I suspect that these two sites will be the least converting and lowest traffic drivers. I have Google Analytics installed, so I?ll monitor that closely and adjust my focus accordingly. Forum Posting 30min - Post 1 topic, respond to at least 5 topics per forum with a quality response Once I start earning some money, I plan to re-invest it into forum advertising. They?ve always been extremely high converting in my opinion, and because I?ll have already established myself at each of the forums I think my ads will convert really well. Blog 30min - Write original content and work towards a twice weekly blog post I want my posts to be longer and more content-rich, so I don?t mind spacing out how often I post. I like to do my blog writing after I?ve done social media activities for a few reasons. Traffic is required to get any sort of sales, and so I?m making sure it?s my number one priority. I?ll be warmed-up to start writing some really good quality content, because I?ve already done some smaller, lighter writing by posting around. I?ll have connected with my target audience and be really in touch with what they?re asking for, so I know what content to create to help them to convert into sales. Analytics 30 min - Run reports on analytics and conversions, check on A/B split tests, and tweak. If I?m not constantly testing them I?m missing out on profits. I know I can get a little bit obsessed when it comes to this kind of work, so I?m going to limit myself to only 30 minutes! To make sure I follow that, I?m going to do it last thing every day. Total time: 4 hours/day The sooner I can quit my 9-5 job, the sooner I can up this to a full 8 hour workday, 5 days a week. I?m really excited to do that. For that to happen, I?ve decided that I have to make at least $2,000/month. Wish me luck!
