I've had an adsense account for about 5 years now, and never put it to good use until about a month ago. I had set up a few PPC campaigns on a 2nd tier search engine over at ezanga.com and was doing well with adsense. I invested about $20 a day in ezanga, and made $150-$200 a day in adsense. GREAT!

When I checked my reports, my CTR was sitting steadily between 4 and 6% overall, and <2% per each ad unit. Then one day, I had a CTR of 11% and I got the hammer. Banned for "Invalid Clicks".

So my question to you is have you been banned for using ezanga? I know plenty of folks that have used ezanga for months and their adsense accounts are just fine.

I checked my site religiously for any strange activity, but could find none coming from ezanga. The traffic seems legit. So, what gives? Why the heck am I banned for invalid clicks? I submitted my appeal to the adsense team, but it got denied of course.

I feel so upset about this. I never do anything shady or blackhat. I just like reading about it here :p If I created another adsense account, would it just get banned again?

Any thoughts or suggestions on where to go/what to do next are greatly appreciated. Would love to hear about your experiences with ezanga and adsense.

Your journey to $5k/mth is only over if you give up... are you giving up?

Definitely not! Just don't know where to turn after being banned by adsense. I've since tried a few other networks and haven't even made even with my investment.

Honestly i heard many cases like this, G adsense seems tracking down people who earning money from them and tried to find excuses to suspend their account, so typical of Adsense. Sometimes you will get accuse saying you are doing MFA (made for adsense site) even the site is legit. Bottom line they do not want you to make a lot money and they want to take a lot of money from you. Once they suspend your account, very slim chance for you to get it back - especially you making that amount of $.

Anyhow, you can create another site and create a new adsense account and do what you do.

Create an LLC, get an Adsense account through that entity, and try again.

doesnt make sense..OP isnt saying something that he did..Your click through rate alone tells me this.. 4-6% those numbers fall outside the realm of possibility for google..just be honest with yourself if you did something out of the scope of the terms of service they will track you..11% ctr..how is this possible..Google has no incentive to steal your money..Why would Google suspend you when you're bringing legit traffic? Their goal is to put the advertisers in connection with the buyer..so if your doing it legit then Google will love you..not conspire to stop a site making chump change in comparison to big time sites..Rinse and repeat..dont make the same error again..and dont act like you dont know why you got banned..

it could be for a lot of reason ( not gonna say them for obvious reason )
but here is 1: click bombing ctr goes up, adsense will ban u even if u had nothing to do with it

I've never heard of eZanga, but I can tell you one thing,

No network likes a high CTR. Lower that % and try again.

trust me bro..click bombing would probably happen to an established site..where competitors want to mess with you for whatever reason..he said he hasnt used adsense in 5 years and suddenly pops out the wood works with making money automatically..and his ctr goes out the scope of normal sites..just doesnt add up..he knows what he did..he probably thought he had a loop hole that he could get away with it...but google has to maintain credibility...if the advertisers are getting screwed out of money..then google will lose market share...so their main priority and where alot of money is invested is to stop click fraud

Rinse and repeat..easier said than done. I've invested hundreds in CPC campaigns to make the money I did with adsense just to get banned. While I can easily make another account, I'm just not sure if Ezanga is the cause for my ban. Hence the reason I opened up this thread..to get others input on their experiences with the ezanga and adsense. If I knew ezanga was sending invalid clicks, then I wouldn't be using them/wasting my advertising money. Nobody on this site seems to know anything about ezanga or have much experience with it, from what I've searched.

I think i read somewhere that Paid traffic is against Adsense TOC.
Btw, from a lot of people i heard, CTR of 10% is possible.

I dont know why the banned your adsense account, but I am using adsense for many years, with CTR up to 20 or more, and probabily some site with low traffic even more, never had any problem, I even have a Adsense Customer Support call me time to time.

By the way I dont earn a lot either...

I'm not a "bro" by the way :p The reason I didn't use adsense in the past is because I use a different ad network in which I have connections with the VP. I just wanted to test out adsense and see if I could make more money than what I was currently making. Of course I did. The thing is, none of my other networks have ever banned me with ezanga. I don't know what the heck went wrong. I don't even know what a normal CTR is for adsense. I am just trying to find a pattern or something wrong with ezanga or a reason that Google found "invalid clicks" with ezanga. If I knew what went wrong, I wouldn't be sitting here asking for advice.

Let's try again..if you have any experience with Ezanga and adsense, please contribute to the discussion.

arbitrage will get you banned from adsense no matter what network you are using if caught. against the TOS - use to make really good money back in the day

It's not against their TOS. https://support.google.com/adsense/answer/1348722?hl=en
Just needs to be legit traffic, and no bots or anything. Ezanga is CPC..just like adwords.

I think you just answered my question!! So basically, you're not allowed to point your campaign to any pages that have adsense on them? Well shoot. I guess I missed that piece of info.

Found this article from way back when: http://ppcblog.com/adwords-adsense-arbitrage-ok/

I dont really keep replying but i hate when women have to state something..i wasnt calling you bro..rangeroh refered click bombing as a plausible reason..i replied to his click bombing statement..so i said bro to him..women always feel the need to state their gender to show they can keep up with men..save the feminism...but hey nothing you can do or advice anyone can give you..any adice will only be subjective because we do not know how you went about setting up your account..how you implemented the search for ads, or that site..but through my experience its hard to just start off a new site which has never been in the google network before and start out with such a big jump...investing 20$ to get back $200...those numbers sound too good to be true..i guess to google the numbers were too good to be true as well..like i said only you know what you did..be truthful to yourself...move on..start over and be smarter next time

This. What I'd do, because it sounds like their system is working, would be to continue using them, but also invest in one of those 0px x 0px iFrame traffic solutions. This will lower your CTR. Holy crap, I just gave myself an idea! ;)
