    Hi guys!
i'm going to start my first site/blog, i'm a little agitated and scared because it's the first time in absolute that i try to have my own blog.
    There is the situation:

I would like to start a blog with wordpress, the site of wordpress reccomend to use Bluehost as host, that is going to cost 10$/month with the plus plan and gratis domain for one year, so i would like at least to don't lose money from this project... If what i'm going to do doesn't guarantees at least 10-15$/month of earnings please tell me before i waste the (few) bucks i have.

I'm thinking to re-write and translate to english articles on "how to do" things and connect the blog to adsense (i'm european, so no 6 months of wait for approval i think), i also have a small youtube monetized channel to use that now is making 1$/day, but i have some copyrighted stuff on it and i don't even reached the first 70$ to receive the pin, so that is a gray area, i will ask on the google support if my adsense account can be banned with my youtube channel.

Can this "how to" blog make me earn some daily money? i don't want to buy bots, views and stuff like that, i have the time to translate, modify and write a lot of articles if i can earn something from this...

I appreciate any advice, i never had a blog xD

The blog will only make you money if you can actually rank the keywords. Do some keyword research, write some informative content, build links to the content you want to rank for, and rank.

Look into CPC and how competitive the keyword is. If you don't know how to do this then there are a variety of threads on BHW that details on how to do it.

    Here's one.

    Keyword research is key.

I'd save yourself money from the start.

Dreamhost for example do coupon codes for a years hosting for $20. And Godaddy coupons will get you a $1.99 domain for a year. Search for coupons before throwing money around.

Don't forget about seo and social media. Seo is more like a long term that will pay up down the road but with social media you can see the results fairly quickly, I suggest you check it out.

You will have an interesting journey. You should use social network like facebook, instagram, twitter to get good traffic, put blacklink at the site what have a good traffic like BHW, run ads with facebook ads, twitter ads, google adwords, yahoo ads,... with discounted coupon. I think it's better. Hope some info can help you.
