Hello all! My name is Trith, and welcome to my journey! Let's get right into it!

I know that Kindle publishing can be extremely effective and an amazing moneymaker! I figured I'd post a journey to show my progress and hopefully success.

I know it'll be quite the uphill battle to begin with, but I'm going to fight through it and keep at it. So often people post journeys only to quit. However, I will be keeping at it until I see success! My goal for now is to reach $5,000 per month of steady passive income and continue to scale from there.

Right now, I have one book published and I'm going to be writing down a plan of attack and all soon. I'll be posting updates daily!

Thanks for tagging along! Feel free to post any questions, tips, and feedback! It's all much appreciated!

I've still gotta update my thread, you can burn out very quick with writing, and then getting the coverpage and then uploading, managed 3 books which I am averaging $10 a month from

I wish you luck on your journey, Trith.

Writing is a tough gig if you do it yourself, rather than have it outsourced. Then the whole Kindle thing - the formatting, the fighting for position ... I do better selling my own books on my own sites, but of course I don't have the traffic that Kindle has.

I'll be following this thread closely. ;)

I've been working hard, promoting my free book everywhere for now! I hope to get a few thousand downloads and hopefully a few reviews will come from that!

I've decided my goal will be 2 books a week. I'll produce a book Monday and Wednesday of every week, and dedicate Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday to marketing the books! After that, I hope it'll be set and forget for those books and I'll keep scaling!

I'll watch with interest. I've published original fiction (including a full length novel) but have never really set my bank account alight with it. I e got plenty of reviews and have gotten some good download figures during freebie periods but that's about it.

That being said I only have five books available and know you need a lot more than that to earn well.

Play hard and here's to your success!

All it takes is one best-seller.

Obviously Trith is out-sourcing his books, because NO ONE can produce self-written books on a schedule like that.

    Still, I wish him well.

Definitely seems like a journey I will be paying attention to. I love reading Kindle threads, update us often. I hope you will reach success.

My tip: Get reviews before you send your book to a free days promo launch. It will give you much more downloads if you have couple of reviews to lean on. That increase in downloads will give you better rankings and more purchases in the end, trust me. Make sure you get at least 10 reviews before you use your free days. In the period of giving a book as a freebie, make sure you use all potential marketing methods. This is a surefire way to get to the top of the charts and make a book a top seller. Believe me, I've been there.
