Hi everyone,

I've been a member here for 10+ years now, this was my second account. Basically spent my childhood here partially.
One problem I've always been aware of here has been the short-sightedness of the community. Not all of us, for sure.
But people who are trying to earn $20/day (even though it might mean a lot to you) is very sad, given that we have the f***ing INTERNET to our disposal.
Like Gary V says, come on guys. We can do better than that!

My approach is to build Micro SaaS businesses. What that is, is simple. Just go to ProductHunt and see what kind of products people are building.
I have a distributed team of very solid engineers and product people, I myself am very good at the idea implementation, market testing & product design side.
Again, the idea is simple: Find a (small-ish) need, and fill it reasonably. People will pay for it. Do not worry. It might take time, but open your eyes my man, do not go running around CPA bulls***t for the rest of your life.
Your time is precious and you have a brain. Use it wisely. In this journey, my goal is to inspire people and show them what a 25 y.o can do, you can do too.

So, I'll be posting not too frequently here, but each post will be a meaninful update on how things are going. My daily life is pretty busy, even though I work 12h/day. We're usually building multiple products at the same time..
Product is our strongsuit, and usually we work with others for marketing & sales. If you are good at selling, ping me - whether it be email, Facebook ads, Linkedin outreach or Reddit marketing. I love good marketers & salespeople.
If you have a product idea or something you're working on, ping me. Currently we do not have any room to fit another product to develop from scratch, but I always like the MVP & ideation phase. We invest in projects, too.

To summarize, I'll be building and growing my Micro SaaS businesses. I will not be sharing any details about the products publicly because I don't want to deal with copycats (who lose to us anyways, so just a time waster for both parties).
The goal is to hit $500k/mo in revenue - MRR, since all of our tools are based on subscriptions. Currently we're at ~$87k (not all of it is MRR, also distributed among four different companies/products). My goal is to hit $500k/mo by the next year this time - July 2022. Definitely doable! But I'll need to hire some superstars to our team & build more products. And I'll be writing mini how-tos for you to start your own thing & answer your questions in this thread.

This is going to be an interesting one guys, I normally do not share these things even with my closest friends. But honestly, I'm just tired of how many young talents, how bright people are just wasting their lives away by writing articles for $2, buying and selling Instagram followers for $10.. Please think big guys. I was one of you years ago. Only thing I've changed has been my mindset, perspective. If I did it, you can do it. Just watch me and be inspired. I'm so excited for this.

This is one of our tools' reveue for today - close to $2.5k, nowhere near what it should be. To hit $500k/mo, this number should be >$16k daily. Basically ~7x it, that's the goal. Audacious, stretch, but will be worth it.

Let's go

Really looking forward to this! Best of luck, I'll be following closely.
Thanks man! Hope it'll inspire many.

Definitely arbitrary. It's just my definition of a "big goal" for a year-long journey, 7x. How I came up with the number is this though: $1M per year, per headcount in the company (except contractors). I own the company, profit margins are higher than 80-85%, depending on the product so it sounds pretty solid to me overall.

Definitely! Keep an eye on every place, IndieHackers is good.
One tip: Go to business marketplaces like MicroAcquire, Flippa etc and look at the sold sites, businesses.
Will give you lots of ideas. I have a Notion page of ideas, like around 200 of them I think. And I delete most of my ideas!

Look quite interesting.
You built the product yourself or hired developers?

Goodluck.
Most of the time I build the MVPs (2-3hrs max), run some test ads & campaigns and see how well it all goes. Then, if further development needed I delegate it to my team or contractors.

MVP in 3 hours? How many MVPs have you built in your whole career then?

You take words out of my mouth.

Oh man, hundreds of MVPs? I don't know but a lot.
Most people think too complex. I'm a minimalist. At first it's okay to do things by hand, by using contact forms, manual tasks or $5/h VAs. Just set up a site or write a memo, make it clear and share it with relevant people.
There have been many times we've sold 20-30k worth of "product" before it was developed. Once you create a proof of concept, everything becomes clearer.

I saw people spending like $0.5m just for the MVP which would likely fail. Talking about 2nd tier country here.
Now I'm concerned: to sell my own software in mass or just find people to make MVPs for?
I have to make the choice. Otherwise I will just jump from one idea to the other.

interesting journey,
since you mentioned producthunt, are you using no-code low code tools, or you started coding from 0

good luck :)
This is a good question. Some devs are bad just for the fact they are so slow and they make everything from the beginning instead of making it as fast as possible.
It wouldn't hurt them. The result would be delivered faster.
