Well, stat wise all my plan upgrade did was give me more storage so I'm not even sure it helped. The main thing that needs upgrading is going from shared to dedicated hosting, but that's expensive.

Why don't you try promoting dropshipping products or POD? Try to sneak promote them in your quiz maybe.

In a quiz site model, my advice would be to save these types of promotions for an email list. When visitors are on the site, CPM tends to be the best way to go as it doesn't interrupt their quiz experience. Quiz-takers are unlikely to want to click away from the quiz to browse online as it disrupts their quiz results. But you could absolutely ask for an email address at the end of the quiz and then send offers to your list.

What would be even better is to ask the users email at the end of the quiz and tell them that you will send the results to the email address. I have seen many quiz sites do that - this way you get a massive email list on top of your CPM ads money.

I'm not that keen on the whole dropship model but the main issue is when a user clicks on a link within Instagram it opens a browser within Instagram, this would be hard to get someone to buy within it.

    Thanks! Welcome.

It's probably worth a shot but I'm not keen on the idea of forcing a user to enter their email for results.

Wasn't getting 500k pageviews, I'm pretty sure they accept a lot of sites under that amount. I just entered my details and applied.

It's been fun watching this journey with you, James. Congrats on your success thus far. I admire your determination.

I'm not familiar with the Quize plugin. Does your site encourage the end user to post their quiz results via their social media platform (and thus, perhaps, increase your traffic)?

Ok i tried that with adblade only. Since it's accept only US traffic, i don't think using fb ads is a good idea.

Posting on facebook groups isn't easy as it sounds... Problem with groups mod + faceboom spam filter.

As for reddit, you need multiple acct, one with good karma + some for upvotes. Havn't tried hard on reddit but will check that soon.

What i'm thinkin to do, is to submit to other ad network "2 of them" that accept 3 tier traffic with a good cpm rate. And try to run ads targetting 3 tier countries only.

OP. Have you got any good ROI in anytime you started ads?

Personally I think making an ROI on FB ads is very doable. I was getting $0.04 CPC for US users. So if a user views 25 pages on average I'd need a $1.6 CPM across all ad networks together to break even. A $1.6 CPM is very doable.

I'm getting the same CPM with Infolinks and Adcash. Removed their ads. But I'm just starting out and hope to find a better network. Does anyone know of any good CPM networks?

I've seen quizzes like that, for me personally it looks like a scam and a terrible user experience. I just don't leave my email to get results, I close the site and leave for good. Couldn't care less about the quiz results if it means giving out my email to scammers and spammers. Also, people would never move from that quiz to another one. You won't get repeat visitors.

I email Adblade and they said they only serve US traffic, that's why my CPM is low.

    Update

I was accepted by MGID (An ad network) so I decided to run another Instagram promotion for $16.
    Results are shown here:

    Adblade:
    Adsense:
    Google Analytics:
    MGID:

MGID & Adblade's CPM was stupid low. I think Adblade's was low due to most of the time the ad being below the quiz so it had awful viewability. MGID's ad was on top of the quiz most of the time and still had a 50% viewability rate (I think this is due to the ad loading times?). Even though the MGID ad had a majority of tier 2 & 3 traffic this still shouldn't have affected the US earnings. I tried different placements, sizes etc and none had much of an effect on the CPM. I even tried to place both ads on top, didn't have much affect. Looking back I should have kept the Adblade ad on top and the MGID below instead of moving them around all the time. The MGID ad also had barley any clicks for the number of impressions. Who would have thought Adsense would make the most.

@se900se 's quiz plugin (the one I'm using) recently said that they'd partnered up with some ad exchanges and networks. I've emailed them and I'm going to look into that. Not sure if theres any requirements etc or if it's something that could actually help me, worth a shot none the less.

Thank you again for the support on my journey to $50 a day profit.
    James,

Yeah, the main problem here is the CPM and not the traffic. If the 50%+ of your traffic comes from UK, USA and CA, I suggest you to try Media . net
Anyway, I think you are getting more than 10k users a month, try to join Ezoic, it could boost your earnings

Ezoic said the traffic wasn't consistent enough and that I should apply again in a couple months when it's more consistent.

    Thanks! Will do
