This is my First Journey I will share, I have lots of websites but mostly all of them are fly-by projects which has had not much success.
I understand that the Key to success is hard work, so I will make this Journey to maybe help some people here and to keep me motivated.

The plan is to create a niche authority site with 100 articles, In each article I will try to include 6-7 long tail keywords (each must get 500searches per month and must have high CPC ).
I will target only keywords that have $7+ cpc in google keyword tool and will solely try to earn money from adsense.
I will write articles myself as I can't find anyone who will write a decent 500-600word article for me for less than $3 , so 100articles x $3 = Will just better write myself :D

I will start by finding an expired domain/soon to expire domain in my niche which I will snap it up as soon as it expires , Hoping this will give me some kind of authority to start with.

To get to $50 day I will need probably 25-30clicks per day in very high paying niche, with 5-6% CTR I think I could get with a good theme that would be probably around 400-500 unique visitors per day.

    So day 1:
    Zero income/no site/ no traffic/no Nothing!

I like such journeys where you go big with something like 100 articles to create an authority site.
All the best and I honestly hope you succeed.

found one domain with good da/pa and tf/cf thats expiring tomorrow, hope i get it.
It has used to be an authority site before, and I can copy about 50-70 unique articles from it from archive.org
will see.. but won't be that bothered about it if I can't get it as it's not ultra-super-good one i'm looking for.

But other than that ,not much luck finding anything decent that expires in next few days. Will have to check again after few days.

Didn't got the domain :( Oh well.. off to wait for some another good one. The thing is there are maybe 1-2 good domains like that expiring PER WEEK in the niches I want, so very very hard to find something and if you decide to go for it- sure as hell someone else will place a backorder for it as well :(

Managed to get pretty good domain in education niche which used to be an University website before.
Not much content to rebuild so will have to write myself but Hey I'm ok with that...

    Total spent so far: $15

Now have to wait for the DNS setting to resolve to my host and will be ready to get to work..
Plan is to write each article targeting super super longtail keywords, in each article including ~10 long tails with no competition each getting at least 100 searches per month.

I will Not build any backlinks for this this for next 2-3months to get out of the new-domain sandbox , although this isn't really ''new'' its still freshly registered,
I suppose the current backlinks are enough to already give me some decent linking power/authority.

Got another domain, slightly better stats, I will try to rebrand it in slightly different niche and make not 1 authority site at as I wanted at first but at least 4-5 and see what sticks, will make probably 20 articles that are at least 1300-1500 words long each and full of long-tail keywords for each site and dripfeed them over 2-3months and do nothing else for the 3months but wait and see what happens.

Total Spent: $37 on 2 domains so far.
    Income: $0

Off to start creating content now for the first website.

keyword tool/common sense, scrapebox is your friend, and I have a lot of small softs I have made myself to help automate/sort/search stuff.

along with a subscription to majestic/ahrefs/semrush to help verify backlinks/keys etc.

Well Worked my ass off and got 35articles ready for the site, 10 already posted, the rest 25 scheduled over the next 2months.
Each article around 700words long , I made the main site 1300words, in total around 25,000 words! whoo..

Btw Got already first 3 visitors today from google just for the homepage.

Total spent for the first site: $15
    Income: $0
    traffic: 3 visitors total

I will do nothing for the next 3weeks with this site and see if I already start getting any traffic.
In meantime time to build 2nd site.

Really nice progress in a short timeframe! Can you share your (broad) niche? And what are stats of your targeted keywords? Good luck!

Education, I target mostly super long keywords 4-5word ones which get at least 100searches per month and good cpc and has no competition at all, if you add 10such keywords per each article it all adds up ;)

It sucks heavily that I got no Budget at all to spend on these websites, Broke as F at the moment and I seriously can't afford to pay someone the $3 per article it would take to get something at least a bit ok. So have to write everything myself, being not a native English speaker doesn't makes the task easier :D

I see people making journeys here and saying that they have made an 100article site and have spent $3000 to develop one..I just shake my head at that :(

Which tool did you use to find the domains?
