Hello dear blackhatters,

Over the years I've been reading this forum as a silent, unregistered stalker, I've told many friends about it and shared some of the success stories that fellow members write here in this forum (particularly in this journey section).

Now, fully motivated and with some delusional aspirations, it's time for me to write my own journey to 1,000,000 unique visitors a month. Please be kind, as my plan is probably not very good, accurate or possible, but as the newbie that I am I'm hoping this is one of those cases where "intention is what counts" kinda thing.

Here's my plan:

  1. Create a "branded website" with a catchy, easy to remember small word that can serve as an "umbrella brand" to topics that may not be very related... sports / music / cinema / fashion / etc...
  2. Create engaging, easy-to-digest articles, similar to buzzfeed, viralnova, etc. and upload them to the site
  3. Design cool photos/memes and short clips about multiple subjects, whatever might go viral at the time. Upload to site / facebook.
  4. Grow my existing network of followers on twitter ( around 350k - mostly fake celebs ) / on facebook ( 0 - after facebook caught me trying to sell pages ), however I've already smooth-talked my way into being admin of a couple of celebrities groups and pages.
  5. Once I get my social network followers numbers up (say 500k on faceb and 500k on twitter) spread accross multiple accounts, I'm hoping I've got enough audience to create an organic flow of content, where my followers will do the sharing for me, so I can focus on developing better quality of content, mostly videos as these are easier to digest and more shareable.
  6. By then, I am hoping monetization will be something quite easy to deal with and that the money I'm getting from the site will allow me to create better content and increase my following.

Why I'm doing this?
  1. Because at the moment I've got some stale twitter accounts, that are not being monetized or explored to their full potential.
  2. Because I'm a designer, and I believe that I could potentially use these skills on a project like this.
  3. Because I keep seeing shitty websites with shitty content getting 1m a month and I keep wondering how much money those guys are making and I'm jealous as fuck.

Where I'm at now?
  1. Chose a small, cool sounding word
  2. Bought the domain
  3. Bought 50 articles, spread over 5 categories.
  4. Created and uploaded 4 articles.
  5. Started approaching group admins / page owners on facebook, trying to get my hands on an admin role.

As I said before, I'm a bit of a newbie, so chances are I'm talking a lot of bs.. But it'd be great to get you guys input on this and it'll be very interesting for me to share my journey and see where it takes me!

exciting times ahead.
best, whitewine

I wish you the best. I'm currently planning on doing this myself as I have an adsense account. I'm currently researching on how to keep my adsense account safe using this method.

hello euhero,
I cannot see how this method would be against the adsense policies.. what exactly are you doing research for?!

should be interesting to see how this turns out for you, you have some big social follower numbers, hopefully not all fake :D Good list of things to do, good luck!
