My journey to 10k Instagram followers

Hello everyone!

I've been around here for a while and I've reached this goal in the past with one of my businesses, but I this time I want to do it in a different niche and be able to replicate the method for other niches.
Things have changed since I did this the last time (maybe 5 years ago) and I'm aiming for the mother/child method.

I have no specific goal of monetization yet and I set a low goal of 10k as I've been away from the SoMe market for a while now.

Tools I'll be using:
  • Jarvee
  • Reddit RSS (for content)
  • Pinterest (for content)
I will use a RSS feed from popular subreddits and post content from there and I have a pretty food Pinterest going that I will also re-post from.

What I'm currently looking for:
  • Aged account for my main mother account (still looking for a good provider)
  • Aged accounts for the child accounts (about 5 accounts as I don't want to upgrade my license for Jarvee just yet)
  • Good proxies, think I've settled on residential proxies.
Day 1:

i would warmup main acc with f/uf manual strategy for few months.(500-1200f/m) and then go to mother/child. But 5 accs wont bring you as much followers as f/uf per day, just saying. And i saw a lot of people fail with m/c or m/s even with simcards for every single account and very slow settings. M/C is more difficult these days, saw a lot of services who discontinued their m/c now, but the ones who are running properly get some crazy results, but with at least 20 or 50 accounts. Wish you best of luck, maybe can still rock this.

Thanks for the input. Do you have any good guides? I have no problem bumping it to 20 or 50 accounts :)
 
Day 3: Bought 6 aged instagram accounts and 1 mobile rotating proxy. Just started the verify process and now I will start warming them up :)
 
Day 4:
Read some journeys and I have decided on a strategy: I'm going to read up on how to get good expired domains, find the right keywords and fill this site with relevant content with regards to how @Dinner&Diatribes did it in his journey.
As a UX designer I work a lot with CRO and tools like Hotjar so I will use this a lot to optimize. I might do a combination of Amazon Affiliate and try to find a second affiliate provider so I don't get hit too hard if something happens with any of them.

Here is my checklist, as you can see I also started the warm-up of the accounts:

One of my accounts needs verifying, but Jarvee is not displaying the recaptcha correctly so I had to contact support. Waiting for their reply.

I'm very positive my niche will do well. I'm also looking into Tiktok and hope Jarvee soon will have a tool for Reels as I think my niche would do very well with this channel.
Also gonna get myself a subscription to festingerbhw.com to get some themes and plugins that I need.

Week 2:
I finally got around to get everything up, it's been a very productive week and I've gotten a lot of work done!

My checklist as of now:

I got the website up on an old domain that had links from The Guardian to the main page and is also in the relevant niche, so I'm very happy about that!

Social media:
  • Mother account is up and running with relevant content and gaining followers each day!
  • My first 4 slave account is also running with relevant content, f/u, DMs and everything I need
  • I also bought 20 new slave accounts and started warming them up.
  • Setup a Twitter and a Facebook page (I don't really like doing marketing on these platforms)
  • Relevant content is now posted to Facebook, Twitter will be next
  • Having a lot of problems with Jarvee and TikTok, working out the issues with the support
  • Scraped about 800 relevant TikTok videos that's being posted to the stories of the different account and also walls
Website content:
  • Found a expired website with relevant content (150+ articles)
  • Posted my first 2 articles this week and already getting some traffic.
  • Plan to post 1 article each day.
Keywords:
  • Done TONS of keyword research and found some great opportunities!
Backlinks, guest posts etc:
  • Waiting until I have some more relevant content.

Goals for next week:
  • Hire a VA to clean up, optimize and prepare the 150+ articles I imported (I spend way too much time doing this, so I think it would be best to hire someone to do this)
  • Start building PBN sites, I bought a couple of 40+ DA domains
  • I bought 50 expired articles, so I should have enough content now for a long time
  • Publish 7 more articles.
  • Automate the creation of pictures and videos for social media based on blog content (already found 2 great services with API and templates for this)
Current stats:
  • Instagram followers on main account: 288 (10 new the last 2 days)
  • Money earned: $0
  • Articles published: 2
One thing I've been thinking about is maybe doing dropshipping in the future. I haven't decided fully yet, but I order so much stuff from china and I've just discovered BuckyDrop, this would give me a lot cheaper prices then AliExpress and a lot more products then what I see on AliExpress or DHgate. I've seen so many of the things I link to on Amazon on Taobao for 1/10 of the price. Any thoughts on this?
 
It's been a little bit longer then a week, but here comes my update!
Things have been moving a long great and I'm seeing some progress. I've even hired a VA that's doing great work!

New since last time:
  • Hired VA for everything that has to do with SEO + article writing
  • Completely automated image generation for Instagram, Pinterest and Facebook
  • Automated article creation with OpenAI with GPT-3, this writes insane good articles and it's a very good start for the VA as it writes 100% unique. I've created a API so I can just send a email with how many words I want in the subject line and the initial seed for the article in the body (just a headline or a paragraph) and it then generates the article, posts it as draft in wordpress and sends me a link when it's done to where I can see and edit it. Gonna start using it soon with my VA
  • I also automated YouTube video creation with the help of AI. The service I use cost a little bit but it has an incredible text-to-speech functionality and the face sync to the voice almost perfectly. Showed it to many of my friends without telling them it is a AI and they didn't even notice.
  • I also automated creation of Instagram story videos.
  • Instagram has been a bitch tho. I've been meeting so many blocks and challenges with using Jarvee, I almost felt like giving up so many times. I've now ordered some unlimited data simcards from the UK and hope to run them on 4G proxies here in my country as I've had amazing success with the one proxy I've created myself.
  • Pinterest has been amazing! I've had several pins gone viral. So I'm going to continue that.
  • Had also a viral TikTok but then my TikTok account got blocked... So yeah
  • Nothing on Amazon yet.
Stats for now:
  • Instagram: 560 followers (+272, about 18 followers a day)
  • 77 new backlinks built, including new PBNs from high DR domains
  • 13k words written for main site.
  • 15 articles published + one for main page
  • 354 outreach done for guest posts
  • 64 people came back and we are negotiating.
  • Money earned: 0$

  • See results from SEO by new visits

Your journey seems promising Alex, keep at it. I wish I was as motivated as you. I would love to see indications of costs/money spent on your journey as well.

Thanks for the feedback! It's been years in the making and I've had so many failed projects, so this time I'm trying to take all of those lessons and do it differently.
I will make a cost breakdown in the next update. I just finished a budget to also start the dropshipping part of this adventure, so I will share my plan and budget for that next week!

Thanks for the great feedback! Wish I could change the title of this thread since it's turning into something else. Well well.

I'm a little taken a back on my burn rate, I can easily afford this from my own pocket but I wish I would see more immediate results from the work of the VA, but I know this is laying the ground for what to come. My fiancé was a little alarmed by the sum I used the last month too, hehe.
Got two big development projects on the side landed now anyway, so I will most likely put away money from that into this.
