Hey guys, I got a unique journey that has a lot of cool points to take from. I currently work as SEO director for a company, my salary from this job is about $36,000 a year because I work part time. I also about 6 months ago started a side SEO firm which I currently have 3 paying clients (who found me via Google) and 2 more in the pipeline. I am also starting some affiliate sites which I am really putting a lot more effort into than a lot of my competitors or people in general. My goals are to make $36k a year from each venture totaling me over 100k a year.

    Currently:
    JOB - 36k a year part time (30hrs/wk)
SEO Side Business: 1,200(1,200 in pipline)/4000 month (If I bring in 4k, I profit 3k - I outsource most clients are local small biz $350-500 mo average)
Affiliate sites 0/3000 month (Sites being developed with the product I am promoting I need 1-1.5 sales a day to make this figure).

The way I see it, because I outsource most of the SEO through the biz, and the development of my affiliate sites are also mostly outsourced, once all three projects are rolling I won't be overwhelmed with lack of time either.

I am going to post my income figures whenever they change. If anyone has questions drop them here. I will also be updating status of sites being rolled out and traffic methods I am using. Once I reach all 3 goals, I will have made my over-all goal of 100k by the age of 27 (birthday is in 6 months). I originally had this goal by 30, but I don't have time to dick around anymore....girlfriends are expensive nomsayin'. End goal is to be making six figures a year through ONLY my ventures, then moving to San francisco, which has been a shared dream with my GF. Then maybe pick up some consulting work ;).

Goodluck, please keep this thread updated. A lot of journey starters just don't update their thread anymore after a month, which is very dissapointing because you are reading a journey with no ending

Would you mind sharing the path you have chosen with the aff sites? Are you talking about CPA (i.e. payday loans) or Amazon type?

Sounds like a good plan and you definitely have your mind set and from what it looks like, also the skills required for the job.

    Best of luck!

    Hey White Wolf,

I am using CPA offers either direct from the company or through an affiliate marketing company. I am making websites that are review style, but also larger and with plenty of magazine style articles. Decided making a thin affiliate website may just end up being a waste of time in the long run. I am going to be driving traffic first with Youtube + SEO + Bing adcenter.

Thanks for your reply! :) Indeed, it seems that affiliate sites with lots of content and not just spun content are the way to go in the long run.

Hi Dark Jolly, I am going to finishing up my perosnal blog REALLY soon, and I am going to give away my SEO strategies for free (well at least how to do them). Also stuff on PPC etc No, joke.

Also update on thread. I just got my first fiverr testimonial video made for one of the products I am promoting. It came out really friggin good for $15 dollars, remember youtube SEO and video really help build credibility and real useful for SEO.

The first affiliate site should be finished in about 1 week, then the SEO and Youtube SEO campaign is going to begin. Feel free to ask me any questions guys. :)
