My journey to 1000+ a month

Hello! I have been on BHW for a few years and I am ready to start a journey and stick to it! Over the years I have seen success and lots of failure and I am ready to apply what I have learned to my journey.

Why am I starting this journey?
Several reasons. I actually enjoy internet marketing. I find it fun to build an audience for my site and I get very excited when I see success. I also want to start saving some money for when I move out. I am 18 and an incoming senior in highschool so I will be moving out soon.

The plan
My plan is to build an authority site. How will I do this? Social media. I am going to be using Massplanner to automate several social media accounts and build an audience. I will also be using reddit, yahoo answers and stumbleupon to build traffic. My sites content will be similar to buzzfeed or viralnova. I will monetize with Adsense and Amazons affiliate program. I might experiment with other ad networks as well. I'm not going to focus on SEO but my google ranking will gradually increase as I build links with social media.

I'm off to a pretty good start!
In the last 24 hours I have received 1,698 visits!
This has earned me $.47
Yes the CPM is bad. I am going to be working on increasing it but keep in mind a lot of my traffic comes from reddit and they are very tech savvy so they are less likely to interact with the ads. I am also excited because I have gotten some traffic from facebook and I have not even started to market on facebook! I have also gotten a few visits from search engines. Keep in mind I have had this domain for a little over a year but just started to use it. I registered it with google and bing webmaster a long time ago as well.

Lets keep going!

Hello everyone! Sorry I have not updated in a while but my site is doing great! I've received 13,800 views on my site so far today. I have only earned $2.59 today. The traffic is not the best but I am slowly earning more over time.
