    Hello BHW Members!

This is my journey thread to making £10,000 ($15,724) per month!

Its been a long bumpy road, i would say its been filled with ups and downs, but the downs have been somewhat overwhelming and shadowed the up days but i kept pushing through holding a strong belief that i could do this and make it happen!

Currently i own and run my own cleaning company and have done for around 4 years now which has been pretty good to me and has helped me to work the hours i wish to and earn more then most normal people (around £2500-£3000 ($3926-$4711) per month)

So yeah its pretty good although i do work by myself it does get lonely and most of the work is done outside so for example its winter time now which makes it tough to work outside as its damn cold!

My passion for my cleaning company took a big hit a couple years ago as i used to work together with my step brother on it we had a right laugh but we had freakish weather here and we couldnt work for awhile till the weather had passed, this ultimately led to my step brother leaving the company and sorta dumping it on me in a way as i had to take care of all outgoings from then on. But im not one to give up on things so easily so i battled hard at it and like i said ended up earning good money working good hours but the passion for it died out and working alone all the time started to take its toll and i felt like i was not enjoying it any more and it wasnt what i wanted to do.

I've always wanted to work behind a desk working for myself in a nice warm relaxing environment for years and tried several different things but all failed.

So i moved out about 14months ago to live with my girlfriend and with the economy declining and taking on more outgoings it was real tough for us, we were pretty skint/broke but that didnt effect us as a relationship we are a strong couple and both believe money isnt everything! (but it does sure help ease the stress haha)

So in the 14 months from moving out and living with her, i realised if i dont do something now and actually really kick myself up the ass to make it work, i may never do it. Im 24 coming up 25 years old and want to have kids soon.

During the 14 months i dabbled with numerous things like youtube, fivver, social media, websites etc.. I even had this vision of me playing online games flipping items on there to make in game money then selling it for real world money haha i actually did pretty well but it wasnt enough.

So to cut out most of the story (including all the failures during this time) ill tell you where i am now.

So in july i had a vision of a website i would love to create/own and make money from. But coming from a cleaning background i dont have a clue how to make a website or what it takes to run one so i went out purchased myself a diary and began printing off lots of tutorials etc and put it in the diary so wherever i went i could learn, learn and learn some more in the hope it will sink in!

I worked on and off through the day on my laptop, listened to podcasts everyday at work and made it my primary goal to learn and understand Internet Marketing. There wasnt a single day that would go by that i wasnt doing something towards my goal.

So i designed my website on paper, saved up all my money and with the blessing of my misses i took a shot at making this dream come alive! I spent it all on building this website and everything else required to make it a success! I hired people from elance to help (omg everyone i delt with was a nightmare, most of them would get nothing done and took so long for a reply etc i initially expected it to be completed in a couple months so i had it started in september and thought it would be done by november. How naive of me. It dragged right out till january)

Never the less it was finally finished and looked exactly how i wanted it!
So it was time to launch it! Great!

    4th January - Launch day.

between the 4th January - 31st January i had to hire people from elance to sort out a few things and make some tweaks with the website and them being useless it took days so i had to shut the site down to the public for a total of 5 days. (this was split up through the month)

I had problems with my server provider. My website went down i think 40-50 times during the month also.

I was so angry after starting this in july and working so hard, up every night including weekends working till 2am and learning etc. Then the site being so delayed with problems and having useless webdesigners/developers i was so happy to finally launch it and put the bullshit behind me, and now i get all these issues too! When was it going to end?!

Well as i do, i never give up so battled through all these issues and finally got them corrected!

So between the 4th January - 31st January i think my site was up for a total of a bumpy 27 days (bumpy due to the site going down 40-50 times.)

    EARNINGS:
That month i earned a total of £3900approx ($6132approx) even with all that bullshit that went on.

I was stunned at the success it still doesnt feel real to me that i have actually achieved what seemed to be the impossible!

Im writing from the comfort of my couch with my feet up sipping coffee like a boss, its snowing outside and im not out working in it! WOOHOO! FUCK YEAH BABY! I did it!

I made it happen, i never gave up and kept pushing on!

This months looking pretty good also!

My goal now is to earn £10,000 ($15,724) per month by the end of the year! I believe i can do this, this is not a hobby for me this is a change in lifestyle. Im going to MAKE it happen! WATCH ME!

I'd like to thank everyone here for providing me with the knowledge i needed to make this all happen and most of all id like to thank the misses for believing in me and being by my side through some very stressful/depressing times when i thought it was never going to happen, without her im not sure what id be doing! (probably working outside in the snow freezing cold) but i never gave up and thats the most important thing here.

Never give up on your dreams. Learn, Execute, Fail, Learn, Execute, Succeed.

Never Look Back. Live The Dream!

    Thank You!

Hello ! Congrats on your initial success Bro ! a couple of things to ask though : 1-How do you monetize your website ? Offline sales ? Affiliate matketing like selling products from CJ , CB ? E-mail marketing ?
2- Can you please Drop your website in here or shoot me a PM if you want i'm dead curious xD
    3- Is it an E-Commerce website ?
4-How much did it cost to build up your website from scratch ? including the coders , hosting , domain name and everything .

And finally a tip : You may want to consider changing your hosting provider and always keep 3 back'ups : 1 Online 1 on your Laptop and one one a flash disc / Removable hard drive :D

Wish you all the success , best of luck bro :)

Congratulations on your success. I too would like to know what you are doing to make that kind of money.

How much did you spend on hiring freelancers?

It actually sounds like things have gone very well for you. To give you some perspective: I am an experienced programmer with a 10 year career in IT. I quit my job in 2010 and spent the past 2/3 years building a website full time by myself. I launched it 6 months ago, and I am still only getting 5-10 visits per day. I am proud of the website, but it is in the overcrowded Movies & Video Games niche and looking at my analytics I'm getting virtually no hits from search results. That's why I came here :)

    Really long story/experience.

Next time, hire people from the forums or reputable sites
with a clear time frame for your job completion.

You can even source for web designers and developers locally
    if you don't feel safe.

I tell you, there are a lot of people here that will deliver in better
    time than elance.

Secondly, for your down time, i don't know which server or hosting
you are using but Hostgator will never let you down.

Thirdly, think company. Companies are made up of two or more people..
Want to be a real CEO, have time to take good decision, learn from other
people's (employers) ideas, grow big then hire people with experience in
    your needed area of expertise.

Fourthly, well done on a successful transition.. You have made the difference,
    dominate your niche.

I cannot post my website here as there are a few people here that are hell bent on ruining other peoples projects or ripping them off in some ways!

    Some Information:

Earn through various things such as: Affiliate Marketing, CPC Ads and soon to be Email Marketing.
Traffic sources: Search Engine, Direct, Social Media and soon through Ads.

I rank number 1 for my keywords. (i guess putting in all that effort spoke for itself in the search engines eyes)

Put the time and effort into your content and you will be rewarded.

I haven't done ANY SEO work. I will be soon though
