My journey with instagram, after one month.
Sorry its so long, I wanted to be really detailed.

    Background:
So I started building my account exactly one month ago. I did this after reading a story of how people/"instagram influencers" get free products and money from large brands to promote stuff. I thought that was awesome so I figured why not try it. At this time I knew nothing about bots, cpa, BHW, ect... I started as a photography page with all my own pics, but soon realized there are so many photographers with much more talented than me. So two weeks into it I changed my focus to being a lifestyle page about the major city I live in, still using all original content.

    Current stats: after 30 days
    7,000 followers.(real)
Average of 375 likes per photo.
    I'm gaining over 300 followers a day.

    Goal:
Obviously to make money eventually haha.
I want to hit 100,000 followers by June. Once I hit 100k I can probably start making money.
Probably will create some more accounts, after I figure out the ip situation.

    My methods:
For the first two weeks I did mass follow and unfollowing manually. It was effective, but extremely time consuming. I started using some mobile unfollow apps but those are weak so searched for something better and found instagress. For the past two weeks I have been using crowdfire to unfollow and I use instagress to like and follow. I heard that followliker is better so I purchased the five account version of it two days ago. Its much more complicated that instagress and I have heard a lot about people getting banned so I created a second IG account to test it on. My second account is just a common luxury lifestyle account, nothing unique but in popular demand. I'm going to build up this second account for a while simply to learn the ins and outs of followliker, playing it safe on my main account.

    My Questions:
One of my main questions for you all is are any of you "instagram influencers" like I mentioned? Like do you receive free products from major brands in exchange for advertising them? I haven't seen anyone talk about this from my few days of exploring the forum. It mostly seems like people are making money through linking ad surveys, cpa, and selling shout outs, accounts, and followers.
Any tips on building higher engagement?
Also is my growth rate decent for 1 month or is there anyway I can ramp this up without a high risk of losing my account?

Thanks for reading! If you have any advise or suggestions for me I would love to hear them.
I will keep posting updates on my progress. I probably know less than most of you at the moment, but any knowledge I have I am happy to share! Feel free to ask me any questions and I'll try to reply asap! Thanks:)

Best of lucks! Great journey. About your influencer question: people will eventually start reaching you and offering stuff in exchange for posts or whatever they want from you. You just focus on create value and this will come by itself :)

You will not receive free products as you are a niche page, an 'influencer' is usually a person who will take a picture with the product and then post to their large audience.

I recommend promoting things that your audience has an alligned interest in otherwise you risk losing credibility, also if your followers are targeted towards a product you're promoting they are more likely to do the action you desire.

    Best of luck :D

Thanks for clarifying, that makes more sense now. I guessing becoming an influencer is a lot harder than a niche page. Thanks for the tips, I appreciate it:)

Just focus on creating a page that will be in demand for brands because you have value to offer them, and if you have a large number of brands in your niche you can reap the rewards.

For example if you have a page full of attractive females with good style, there are 100's of small boutique's/ online webstores that would be interested in leveraging your page for exposure :D

FollowLiker won't get you banned, it's your settings that will. By not overdoing it, you're safe. Good luck!

I've actually received free clothes from 2 different clothing brand pages, one had 27k followers and other was 7k followers and they offered me to promote their products so received a few items from them.
I'm not a influencer or anything, i only have 3.5k followers on my personal page, gained over 1 year from posting good content and most are friends / people ive met in real life.

But back to your topic, to be an influencer, it's not just based on how many followers you have, sure if you have 50k+ or 100k+ it will help but it's more based on what kind of connections you have.

Let's say a Nightclub wants to give you free access in return for promoting them, they will rather choose someone
    - Who has 20k followers but many connections / relationships with good people, maybe you know some famous celebrities / people
    OVER
    - Someone who has 100k followers but no connections, don't know any famous people, etc.

I agree it's not always about numbers although that does catch attention, interactions from followers and also the connection the person has with their followers. That's why YouTube reviews are so powerful because the audience feels a personal connection with the blogger.

OP, that is pretty good for 1 month. I'd like to build up manually first as well. How much were you following and unfollowing manually for those first 2 weeks? Per hour/per day?

As far as getting free products, once you hit large numbers they either contact you or you can simply reach out to brands and make a deal. Be sure to have a contact email in your bio.

Hey everyone, thanks for all your responses. I'm not sure how to reply individually haha I'm new here lol. I'll go in depth more about my manual two weeks. I didn't keep track of my daily activity amount. I would reach my daily limit almost every day to where instagram would temporarily disable that specific activity for 24 hours. After reading around on BHW I am beyond surprised I wasnt banned haha. When I would lose the ability to follow, I switch to liking, then to unfollowing. Repeat! The absolute best way to get followers, but the must time consuming, is following only people who relate to your page in some way (ex:used same #tag), then look and see if they are following more than are following them(this is good), then follow them and like 3-5 of their pictures, possibly comment as well. This is rediculously effective. At least 80% to 90% of them will follow you back and then they usually like many of your photos. You can gain 500-600 followers a day doing this. The huge downside is this take HOURS, its a huge pain in the A$$! If you have the time, more power to you! I got sick of it, I had to get a Bot. If u just follow random people maybe 15% will follow you back, don't do this, its a total waste of time. Instagress works pretty solid. On fast it follows about 700 a daily. I will get 250-300 to follow me back. Then when u reach your follow limit, use crowdfire to unfollow. With this u can unfollow 100 people an hour. If u set a timer and unfollow every hour, its easy to knock out a thousand in a day. Mainly do whatever works best for you.

click that symbol right beside "reply with quote" on the posts you wanna add and then click on "reply with quote" and you can reply individually :)

Good luck on this journey, I started one, too! : )

You posted this in the wrong section tho : )

As for the settings I've read that 400-500 follows and 500-600 likes with proper delays seems to be safe for both new and old accounts.

Hey guys, I was wondering if my education related with fun niche is good. Something like I ask questions and I receive answers page is what I do. So far, in 7 days, I already have 2000 followers with 7 posts and the average like per post is 45, and comments is over 5. For example, one of my post has about 80+ likes and 140+ comments. Another post has 80+ likes & 55+ comments.another one has 50+ likes & 45+ comments. Two other post has 50+ likes 6 comments. Now, what I want to ask is, Can I make money with this niche? What do you think about this little niche of mine?

Sounds like a great journey and very typical for an Instagram startup. Followliker will be your best friend if you don't rush it.

So you want to get to 100k and then whats the plan to make the Benjamin's start rolling in?

I honestly don't know yet. It really depends on where my journey takes me and how my plans for building additional accounts goes. Maybe Ads shout outs...
I think on one account I am going to sell something. Not exactly sure yet but I have some ideas.
