    Hey,

Noob here. I'm 20 yo college student. Last week I had an epiphany of sorts and realized that for the most part, school was bullsh*t. The path that I'm currently on is bullsh*t. Going to school for 4 years, amassing thousands of dollars in debt for a menial job I could've honestly done out of high school for the hope that I could save a frothy nest egg by 65 (I'll be dead by 70, thanks) was bullsh*t. I've been motivated by the stories of people on BHW writing their own destinies.

I have a lot of ideas I want to bring into fruition. I don't have the capital I'd need for those ventures yet. I have $5,000.00 as of today. My goal is to turn that into $20,000 - $30,000 by August and to build from there.

    Is it possible?

(I've been researching methods for a few days now)

Anything is possible! Try not to stress too much and just have fun with it and see where it goes. The more you stress, the less you will focus in my experience.

It's definitely possible to turn $5,000 into $20 - 30,000 in next 6 months provided you're willing to put in the effort. However, seeing how you're new you're going to make sure you want to invest wisely. Before investing even a dollar I would research as much as possible as that $5,000 can turn into $0 faster than it can into $30,000. On that note, there are a ton of rather expensive tools that require a lot of know how that you may be tempted to buy. I'd say stay away from those for now and work your way from manual methods to fully automated.

Motivate using your own story though, not others as tbh a lot stretch the truth beyond belief on here.

What's possible is what you put in. If you dedicate yourself you can achieve many things.

It's awesome seeing someone as young you has awakened and decided to do something. That's a very important step...the decision to do something and focus on the outcome. Don't focus on the process, but on the outcome.

The next thing is to become quiet and let your intuition guide you to what you need to do next to achieve that outcome.

    Good luck to you!

    Yea, definitely.

I've read atleast 30 threads since last friday. I just want to start small, see what works and scale upward. I'm digging the website/wix method and a few others.

This site is a cool resource. Hopefully a method works.

Just a note, only 5% of people who try make any money online and only 1% make a significant amount so invest wisely and also it can take up to 6 months to start making very small amounts and up to a year to make good money but as others said, anything is possible just not for everyone.

Wow you sound a lot like a past version of myself. Literally like you I was in school, realized it was bs and the only thing that was changing was the amount of debt I owed. Now I'm a smart guy, really smart actually. I just hate all the red tape and stupidity at big universities. In my time at school I met so many valedictorians that were either dumb as a rock, naive, or lacked any kind of creativity.

Anyways fast forward a few years later, I literally dropped out of school with maybe 21 hours left for my double major in business and molecular biology. Now I definitely do not suggest anyone else follow in my footsteps. However, I chose my own path and I'm happier than I have ever been.

In school I was a mess, depressed on the inside, and wearing a mask for the rest of the world to see. I literally was self-destructing and just throwing my life away. It took a significant event to change my perspective and to finally throw away the status quo. I took a long hard look at myself, and decided who I wanted to be.

Sure I want money, and success. However, what I really wanted was to be happy. To wake up in the morning and not feel huge amounts of stress. To put my mind to good things and escape my mundane existence.

Truthfully, I did get lucky too. I had good friends who knew I had lots of skills, but just no degree. Got a great job working at a large tech company in the Midwest, and I love the freedom it provides. I have tons of free time to do my internet work, and still have a real life.

Hopefully, sometime in the future I'll go back to school and it will be purely to learn. Not to chase some dream of future riches instilled by poor fathers and high school teachers. I'm already close to my dream, it's time for another one.

Whatever you do don't give up, don't let walls stop you. Accept the negative things that happen, and then look for the positive. Anything really is possible. You just have to want it with all your being.

I've made money online before. Right out of high school, I had an online sneaker store, making $400-600 per month drop-shipping. Didn't know what I was doing, got lazy and quit. I did other things too. I sold everything from Jewelry to Condenser Microphones on eBay. Last week it hit me, had I never stopped, I'd probably progressed into other areas business-wise and would be further along then I am now. Ergo.......this thread.

I'm completely oblivious to SEO, CPC and Affiliate Marketing though lol.

Just a word of caution...being on here can be a bit overwhelming with the amount of information that's available. I get sidetracked all the time and have to check myself to get back to the task at hand.

Whatever you choose to do, stay focused on it until you make it work....or, if after a while, it's not working, make the decision to try something else.

With that said, I'm putting together an IM membership training site together. Should be up by the end of the week. This will enable you to follow a set structure instead of trying everything that looks shiny. PM me for details!
