The main issue I have with internet marketing is I keep losing focus on projects. So I figured to help keep myself accountable I'd start everyones favorite type of thread (ya maybe a little sarcasm there)...my journey to $50 a day within 4 months. Trust me I know what your thinking, another chump making a stupid thread...BUT I figured I would do things a little different. My plan is to record everything I do, cut it down to the important stuff, and post it for your enjoyment. I'm a visual learner and know how beneficial video can be for some.

So a little about me - I do SEO for clients that pay big money because they make big money from their results. In the process I make good money from them but now it's my time to focus on creating a sustainable internet marketing business. I've got a few EMD domains currently that I haven't done much with and now I am going to be building them out as well as finding new niches.

    So here's the breakdown:

My initial four month goal is to build out 15 niche sites. Seeing as I already have a few, somewhat seasoned, domains I'm going to revisit keyword analysis for those as well as start fresh to find new niches. All sites will be Wordpress based and I already have a theme picked out that should give me the design I want. AdSense easily integrates with it so that will be my primary focus for income. I'll also put up appropriate CPA offers down the road. Another idea is to start capturing emails using aweber to help boost income.

Tools used during this phase - Keyword Scout for keyword and competition analysis, Google docs to keep track of all the sites and what has been done and what needs to be done, IIS skyscraper running on a cloud that checks various site factors ie. incorrect redirects, title tag too long, canonical issues, bad scripting, etc.

Content - my plan is to write a ton of articles...around 100 over the course of 4 months. If I feel additional content is needed I'll outsource it on fiverr or use textbroker or other services here. Once site architecture is done I will start to post 2 articles a day on each site. Seeing as content creation is time consuming writing it will be my number one focus for the first couple of weeks. After the content is indexed I'll start to add AdSense...then any related CPA offers.

Tools used during this phase - my brain, fiverr, textbroker, providers on BHW.

Links - I'll be building links manually to new domains in the beginning. For the domains that have been around for a little bit I'll run small automated blasts at first and slowly beef up that amount. I don't want to risk hurting a domain before it even has a chance. Let me clarify though that I will be blasting 2nd tier links to any hot links I manually build.

Tools used during this phase - myself, SEnuke, Scrapebox, linkpushing (haven't decided on that one yet)...

    So a more simplified version:
Keyword research using keyword scout to really hone in on the right niches
Buy domain (if not already bought)
Install Wordpress and use SEO ultimate and SEOpressor plugins
Create content approx. 500 words long and post 2 a day...100 articles written myself...if it's overwhelming then it will be outsourced.
    Integrate AdSense and CPA offers.
Capture emails to start building a list.
Manual link building for new sites and working up to SEnuke and Scrapebox blasts, small senuke/scrapebox campaigns for existing domains building up over time.
Track progress, rankings, make appropriate changes if needed, and eventually make money!

    Input welcome!

That is my goal. The more content on a site the more opportunity for ranking long tail keywords. I want these sites to be authoritative niche sites and, to me, content is key.

I didn't say $50 is the ultimate goal, it's just my goal within the next 4 months. Would $500 a day have been acceptable for you? Either way it doesn't matter...it's a goal meant to be broken.

    UPDATE:
    4 more articles written
Niche research performed and found a well under-served market.
    Domain bought.

It's different when consulting vs making your own. Props to this thread and I'm subscribing. Give you more kudos to reveal your niche. :)

    UPDATE:

    1. 5 more articles written yesterday
    2. Focusing on one site right now and trying to build it up with content before release.
    3. Found a service on here for LSI articles...expensive but I think it's worth a shot so I am going to buy a couple to test the quality out.

Not an in depth update because my main focus now is building content for the site. Once those have been done I will start updating with hard data and hopefully videos of implementation.
