So I been using a trial for a mobile internet service for the past 2 months. It comes from a cell phone tower. I live out in the country so internet and cell phone service is hard to come by. And so today, our trial ended. I went from 6 MBPS download to under 0.2 MBPS download. I have a very hard time opening a web page while on msn and Skype at the same time. So when our trial ended, we thought alright, lets buy some internet, seems all good. The largest plan they had, went as follows: 10 GB per month for $60. If you go over, its $5/GB. If you don't know, this is huge. Some people on here use over 1000 GB per month. They would be looking at $5000/month for internet!! However, I use 50GB as a family so thats 40GB over so $60 + 40 GB*$5 = $260/month. Which is around $3,000 per year, just to do basic tasks on the computer. Insane. So I am back on my unlimited, cheap 0.2 MBPS download internet. It goes down whenever it feels like and such. What do you guys think about these prices? Should we be paying this company $3,000 per month, or just stay with the crappy cheap internet?
