    Hey guys,

I'm not at all new to the internet marketing scene and I've been mostly doing IM for the better part of the last 6 years part time.

I'm not going to use this thread to dive into my story as I've already got a crazy long version of it on my blog.

Here is my backstory (if you don't like reading there is also an audio version of it as well)

    Goals:

I managed to scout out real estate for over 2 years before finally pulling the trigger 3 years ago. I bought my first home for 123k which I've been very happy with.

Zillow quotes the home is valued at over 240k now and in addition to that I've put around 10k into improvements, fixing up the floors, paint and other misc things.

I currently owe 117k on the home and have roughly 50k saved up from doing internet marketing stuff on the side.

My current major goal right now is to pay off the house entirely and be free of my mortgage, I imagine I could do this with another 70-80k saved up.

I went self employed in August after getting fired from my job for doing internet marketing stuff on the side. I've since doubled my saving from around 27k to 50k and don't have any plans of stopping anytime soon.

How I Plan To Save Another 70-80k:

I've been mostly focused on online course creation and helping others be successful online.

I make most of my money from the following:
    • Online course sales with sales funnels and webinars
    • Affiliate marketing product reviews and promotions
    • 2 Amazon Affiliate sites
    • Client SEO work
    • Joint venture product launches
    Other small sources of income:
    • Adsense and Admob (Android Apps)
    • YouTube Ad Revenue
    • Guest Posting for Fatjoe.co
Checkout my income reports here for some more details on that.

I'm going to mostly be working on really helpful transparent product reviews and focused on generating leads into a sales funnel I have to make more online course sales.

Feel free to ask me any questions about everything I've done online if you read my story!

    -John

    Hey there!

Just a little information about the Zillow Zestimate.

The CEO of Zillow sold his home a little while ago. The Zestimate on his house was 1.75M.

Do you know what his home actually sold for?

    It only sold for 1.05M.

That's a HUGE difference. If you're looking for accurate, don't go to Zillow.

Yeah I know, most of the properties in my area go for 200k+ though. I know it won't sell for that Zillow claims but it's definitely been a worthy purchase considering it was the biggest one I've ever made!

Hey OP, am curious to know that you mentioned one of source of income is affiliate marketing product reviews
how do you promote through product reviews? Do you own blog with several review sites or paid advertising like ppc etc?

I am just posting the reviews on my main blog. I have a buyers list of 2k from prior product launches so usually I send the reviews to my list as of lately. I am not sure how viable it is so far but have earned 2-3k so far from doing them here and there.

I've noticed the most recent ones are not performing so well but there is a good chance they will become 'evergreen' since it's video out on YouTube and a blog article that might pickup traffic from Google.

That's certainly a big goal but it can be achieved. Best of luck to you!

Thanks! I know I'm going to be optimistic and plan to pay it off and do more beyond that as well if I can pull it off.

    Update:
-Making big progress on a software tool I'm working on. We decided on a final name and have just a few minor things left to fix before it's ready. Excited to see how it does long term.
-Wrote up a review on Amazing.com today which is a membership for learning how to sell on Amazon

    Update:
Been doing a bunch of new reviews and making progress on my new software product.

-Wrote up a Deadline Funnel review last week with a video, one of my longest yet
-Wrote up a Instapilot review with a video
-Wrote up a review on Interact, a sweet contest and survey software
-Wrote up an UpTrack review with a video
-Wrote up a Stream Store Review with a video

I published my February Income report which was just a bit of 5k. I'm hoping to do better with the software launch mid March.

Today I did a quick review video for a course called Quick Affiliate Sniper and I'm working on a written interview for a product called FeelSocial.

Been dabbling in Pay Per Call Marketing here over the past few days, been a bit un-focused but still planning to continue with reviews weekly.
