My Identity (infoz about me)

NOTE: This started as a message about Identity for my visitor wall, but grew way over a 1000 chars... figure it works for a JV post, since it will let you know quickly if I'm the type of guy who would want to work with, either now or sometime in the future...

I've always gotten along well with people who have multiple (or hidden) identities. That's one quality that should serve me well here with underground marketers.

Hackers, intel operatives, strippers... I understand and appreciate the need to keep different portions of your life separate. Hell, I would probably even make a great superhero sidekick, I would give convincing alibis and come up with cover stories to help protect the superhero's secret identity.

Of course I'd rather be the hero, but unfortunately my powers, though mighty, don't qualify as "super". So I settle for just being a cool regular dude (albeit with some skillz).

Despite being comfortable with these people, I'm not like that... I don't have any skeletons, or people that I've wronged who are looking for me, or any open bench warrants (and it's going to stay that way, believe that).

So I don't mind admitting here that my name is Mac and I live in LA, or even putting my silly pic in my profile. I'm not trying to dump my infos by any means, though I used my real Paypal to donate, so the mods can look it up if they have to.

(As if anonymity really existed anymore anyway... haha)

I'm only trying to tell some truth, enough that people know they can find me if they really want or need to... I ain't hiding. From that you can deduce that I'm not here on BHW trying to leech or trick or scam.

Worst thing I'll ever do to you is make an insensitive comment that gets you angry. Know that that was unintentional, it's just my Asperger's making me spout off when I shouldn't have. I probably wasn't trying to be rude, my apologies!

I'll make it up with some good info and insight. I have a solid background in military and big corporate IT work (yes, totally WH till after I retired). I'm a net ninja who can maintain perfect privacy discipline, and my org skills let me keep track of 1000's of accounts at a time, keeping them all running successfully... easy for me, since I used to do that for a living.

Quit my last corp job at 29, been supporting myself online since then. Sometimes well, sometimes meagerly... but I've been making it work for over 4 years, which (on average) seems to make me an old man in this industry.

My biggest problem was doing everything myself, and not networking enough with all the great talent out there. I guess I was proving to myself that "I can do it on my own!" or something.

Well, I proved that. Old news. Now... I want to prove that I can do it Bigger and Better by teaming up with other great people, and doing bigger, more exciting, and more profitable projects.

I just didn't know where to find these people... I have a lot of friends with tech talent, but they all just want to work their jobs till they're 65, and they don't care about starting their own online biz.

Hell, sometimes when I go to bars or restaurants, I swear I'll ask the whole room out loud "anyone own a website that gets traffic?" or "anyone sell anything online?"... just trying to find others like me, in the seas of 9-5 workers. Nothing comes back but blank stares.

I mean, many of them have a website... but as soon as I qualify that with "sell" or "traffic".... they drop their heads like "oh, nevermind... not interested".

I didn't know where in hell to find the perfect combination of people who like technology (without being hippies about it) and also like money (without being assholes about it).

Then last month, I found BHW... Home...

Hehe nice post myself i like do most things myself too. But today i got few ideas "hey maybe i can get some coders from country for JV" since i know how to market and where the customers are they know the order of characters in code

Well need to see how this turns out

and to think of it now that i have found something profitable with oursourcing, why not ? heck ill tell me brother ill give 1month WoW gametime if he does some posting

I'm trying a little of several new techniques that I've learned in the last month. I can keep them rolling, but my biggest new success is with the CL posting. Or, "creative marketing" as I like to put it.

I've got my system down now, just jumped over the 100 PVA posts a day level, and everything's sticking.

I'm looking at the new server I installed just for this, with which I'm going to scale to 500 and beyond... starting this weekend.

Haven't been flagged in almost a week now. All my posts spin just right, through however many variations they still sound like a real person who speaks English... and are converting into leads quickly and numerously.

I guess I wouldn't mind building some cred here, by marketing for someone here WHO CAN CLOSE on my leads... preferably another Donor, so I can know that you at least had $97 at one time, haha.

But if you have some good links that you want traffic for (or even better if you want a Inbox full of people emailing you with their complete info, wanting to buy) AND YOU CAN CLOSE on them, then let's talk.

So exactly what are you looking for in a JV partner?

Are you looking to produce the leads and want them to close them for you?

Are you looking for other products or services to add to your income stream (current marketing system)?

Are you looking for some one to take over some of the burden of running everything yourself?

All of the above or none?

Good thing you qualified that... I just barely escaped being offended.

Spamming is just a term for "marketing badly". I do the opposite of that.

Posting ads is not a problem for CL, it's a classifieds site after all.

Posting ads professionally is not a problem with CL staff. In fact, they sort of require it by banning automating posting tools. That's like creating a jobs program for posters... every big successful sales office will need at least one person who knows how to post effectively.

Pissing off CL users is a big problem. In fact if you study their corporate principles, you'll see that this is all they really care about: responding to community requests, and giving the users what they want.

I post helpful info, with properly descriptive titles, that show people some good deals, and help them enjoy their CL experience.

Been proving that with my recent string of posts with no ghosts or flags... but lots of response.

Now I just want to make more money doing it.

Yes, a closer at the moment. Like I can make my own landing pages for affiliate offers & adsense (and I am), but I see a lot of people looking for CL help since December... and I'm doing pretty good with that so far, ready to ramp it up.

Definitely like to mix in other people's offers... with the hope of finding new and better programs (and contacts/friends).

Not my own products, I want to market other's products for a while.
