    Hello!
Since I'm a newbie on these forums I respect the fact that you are all going not care about my opinion but I think it is worth sharing.

I've been a loyal Namecheap client since 2009 and I've loved the domain aspect of Namecheap. Namecheap is the most used domain registrar with over 3 million domains. Now, like the domain registration the hosting is also superb and amazing. While it exactly isn't fit for most people (it's onshore and doesn't have the capacity to store enormous files without paying an enormous price)

Overall i'd say if you are a beginner in the programming field and need a cheap place to host your website, then you should go with Namecheap especially if your domain is hosted by them as well.

Just because you are new does not mean we won't respect your opinion, and yes Namecheap rocks!

You shouldn't host with the same company you purchase domains from.

It creates a potential conflict of interest if you were to decide to move hosts or transfer the domain. Registrars where you also host, or hosts where you also register domains have been known to lock and prevent transfers and cause other headaches.

I too have been using NameCheap since many years, and I have only bought domains from it. Though it doesn't have as much coupon/discount campaigns as GD, it still is my favorite domain-name registrar/domain-name seller. Never had a single trouble of any type with NC over all these many years. Never used it as a hosting service though.

Did you test other hosts too, or have you been "loyaly" hosting with Namecheap the entire time? I tried Namecheap hosting earlier this year, and it is by far the worst hosting I have tried. A text page without any pictures takes 5-10 seconds to load... You might want to discard your loyalty and try other hosts too. Could lead to much better load times than you are seeing with namecheap:)

I haven't tried Namecheap's shared hosting but I'd stay away from their VPS/Dedicated. Nothing but a nightmare experience and long support ticket response times. It seems their hosting division is an add-on with not much thought behind it, along with outsourced customer service reps.

Not a very in depth review, as others have said I would consider testing a few other hosts as NC's shared is not that fast compared to other providers.

Suitable but there are much better choices.
