Below is an excerpt from Time:

The bombs that blew up seconds apart at the finish line of one of the world?s most storied races left the streets spattered with blood and glass, three dead, more than 140 wounded and maimed and gaping questions of who chose to attack at the Boston Marathon and why. Federal investigators said no one had claimed responsibility for the devastating attack on one of the city?s most famous civic holidays, Patriots Day. But the blasts raised alarms of another terror attack in the U.S. after the explosions at a public event among crowds of thousands of spectators.
President Barack Obama was careful not to use the words ?terror? or ?terrorism? as he spoke at the White House Monday after the deadly bombings, but an administration official said the attack was being treated as an act of terrorism.
?We will find out who did this. We?ll find out why they did this,? the president said. ?Any responsible individuals, any responsible groups, will feel the full weight of justice.?

Hear, hear this is sad day in history highlighting the complex and dangerous world we all live in today...

Innocent people kllled and maimed by savages with twisted ideologies..

    Who did this?

    Why did they do this!

The world demands an answer the killers must be brought to justice namely the electric chair or the needle...

A terrible tragedy for sure. My deepest sympathy to the victims
    and their friends & families.

It is sad that the world has become such a violent place,
but I refuse to live my life in fear. If my number is up,
then so be it. Until then, I will live and enjoy my life until
it is time to go. That is the best I can do . . .

Over the years, after reading about a plethora of bomb blasts, I feel sad and dejected that we live on the mercy of some extremists who can kill us on any given day. Those people who died or got injured in the bomb blast were innocent. I never understood what do these terrorist groups get by killing innocent people. This shows that humanity is gradually dying and more and more people are becoming barbarian. But, I request friends, brothers and sisters to please don't fear from these terrorists. Live your life in the best possible manner. Live like it's your last day. Make the most of it. There's so much uncertainty. :(

Sorry for being pessimistic. May the souls of bomb blast victims rest in peace.

Your grandma is a smart person.

And when exactly did we homo sapiens stop being barbarians?! Let's not kid ourselves we are still savages, and have been since the beginning of time. Sure, we have electronic gadgets and motorized vehicles. So what?! It takes just one quick unfortunate event and we'll turn into animals, more ruthless and heartless than real animals. I've never seen a dog bite another dog that was laying on the ground, but I've seen countless men kick the living shit out of other men that were laying on the floor. I've never seen an animal that would kill another animal just for fun, but we "civilized" race do that on a daily basis. I've never seen an animal destroy landscapes and take down forests just to have a nice Ikea bedroom set. And this thing can go on and on...

The point is, we're still a young race and we have a long fucking road ahead of us in terms of evolving. I just hope that we would still have a planet to live on when we'll finally wake up and start thinking.
