I have a shooting pain that's been going on for like 4 hours now. Mostly around my wrist and my forearm. Sounds like carpal tunnel

I'm too young for this shit lmao :(

I'm guessing some of you IM'ers have dealt with this.

Any advice bros ? I feel like amputating my arm off

one of the lads from my lectures had the same issue, was bugging him all day and he didnt know why. stretch it, try get your hand to do other things, rest it, try lift some weights as well. if the problem still carries on best thing is to see a doctor.

I have the same fucking problem. You need to learn to use the other hand. Is the only one real solution.

get health insurance before you go to the doctor. whatever the doctor writes about your examination will affect your rates for the rest of your life

I used to have the same problem. Then I started using one of these to help the pain. They work wonders.

Also, I remember you saying you have back pain as well. For 19, that's too young for so much pain. I'd recommend getting a tube of Biofreeze. It's a miracle worker. Also, I'd see a chiropractor sometime for electronic stimulation. It completely refreshes you. There's even some really cheap kits you can use yourself. Mine is called a "muscle mouse" and you can read more about it here.

You really should. Not only does it help with the pain right now, but it strengthens your wrist muscles to where it won't happen as easily in the future. :)

Half of my left hand has been partially numb since October last year and my elbow gets sore gets easily... I do wrist excersises, finger and arm stretching but its still like that. I wste my time going to the doctor and they say it is nothing but incorrect posture (sometimes I rest my head on my left hand when I'm doing stuff) which is partially true but it must be something more if it has been persiting since October last year. My advice to O.P would be to do alot of stretching, take up a sport to keep active, drink water and take a 15 min break every 2 hours. It's probably too late for myself but you can probably save yourself now lol.
