Guess it's time to start welcoming our new artificial overlords....
In all seriousness, we'll probably see one of two things happen. It continues to be a market disruptor and governments will be forced to do something about it and enact some regulation; like what we've been seeing done to crypto. But it'll be too late, and they'll spend way to long trying to catch up on advancements being made.
Or, we'll see big corps become more active with it and lobby to prevent regulation in order to maximize potential profits. More likely it'll be somewhere between the two... depending on how pervasive it becomes, if it actual creates a "situation", or threatens national security of countries, etc...
