Hello yesterday morning my Godaddy account got hacked, I have managed the situation and I will surely recover access to my account and my domains are safe...

However the hacker changed the DNSs of my domains, my websites are pointing to an empty folder, so all the ranked pages I have in SERPs are now showing 404 errors... It is just a matter of time when I can gain access to my account and update DNSs again to my servers, but it can take up to 72 hours for Godaddy to review and give me access again.

I know it will hurt my SEO, I want to ask you what are your recommendations and I also want to know the impact or damage this can cause to the SEO of my sites. Thanks for your help

If they just changed the dns you shouldn't worry too much. Websites can go down everyday for any reason, google won't penalize you or anything. Point again to your server when you can and check if everything is in the right place

Thanks! Godaddy actually removed 2FA fast, the hacker I think was unexperienced with domains since he acted very nub, I alerted me when he added 2FA without updating my email address, now I recovered my account changed password added my 2FA and will take security very seriously now.

I still don't understand why the hacker acted this way, just wondering his procedure, what were his intentions.

Its not that long period, everything will be back as it was in a couple of days,
Make sure to recrawl any pages crawled and found 404 by google in this period when you recover the dns

Thanks, I think you're saying to check in google search console any error messages, is that what you meant?

I think it will not affect much, can be a drop in traffic, it will take a short period of time to recover.

Keep the site safe and avoid nulled themes and keep it updated.

Nulled scripts are of course a big security risk but why should this be the reason somebody got access to his godaddy account? This could imho only be possible if he used the same password. And I think everybody knows you should not do that no matter if you use nulled scripts or not because you never know if the passwords on websites you use are hashed or if they log your post requests to see your password in plain text.
