I really like this kind of journeys because with good habits and discipline you can get done almost anything.

I recommend you to start slow, specially with habits like reading or exercising. For example: Instead of setting 20 minutes reading as a goal, start with 5 minutes (you probably do more) but consistently for lets say a week. Once you achieve that start increasing time. The same applies to exercise or digital detox.
Another good way to create habits is to specify the exact time you want to do that activity, so when that time comes you already know you have to do it.

You are on the right track!

    Good luck with your journey.
Tried it many times and fail miserable.
Then i started reading books about our habitual mind and how to change .
    Realise something by reading them.
You can force yourself to change and you can change sticking to a program, doing to do lists,..whatever
But the main problem is that you force yourself to make the change.
    Why?
Because the mind wont accept change so easily and this will create an emotional response that will build up over the course of time and will make you fail in the long run
    What did i do ??
I made lists about thoughts, addictions or whatever botherd me trying to understand my mind looking at the positive and negative and how it make me feel.
    Ex:
Watching stupid You Tube videos pros and cons.
I think i have like 5k word written about this.
I also dive deep with some thought just because our mind is made of many layers.
Everytime i feel a small urge to see stupid videos ill go to the list and add more..this never happend in the last 6 months.
I have the desktop screen full of games: WOT Lol CS Go, SC2.. I dont even care to unninstal them they dont have any power over me.
I have many bottles of boze in the kitchen and the beer in the fridge will soon expire..
Long story short- you should try to understand your mind at the deeper level not to just to scratch the surface of it.
You will be amazed what you can achieve after you do this.

    Thanks for insightful reply.
Will you send me a link to that book because I can't find info on google.
I will also start writing what is preventing me from earning money and what I am wasting most of my time. Thanks for that great tip. I will surely try it.
I will surely apply this method & will try to go a deeper level of my mind.

Mate I was super same like you before I started this journey here. Even after waking up now I again sleep at 9 to 12 or 1 PM. But I am doing way better than before. Don't wait till Monday starts from now onwards only.

I am glad that my journey inspired you. I will be very happy if you also change yours.

Best not to even use an alarm clock.

A lot of that depends if you work a normal job.

You don't need to join gym to workout.

Just do pushups, burpees, or kettlebelle swings everyother day. And walk more. Get a step counter. Still join the gym for better equipment. But on the days you can't make it, No excuses for not working out.

You can also live in a building with a gym.

The science is clear. That you need to allow your body to wake up on it's own.
    Just research why.
Check out Sam Robbins on YouTube and others. One can't over research info on their health.

However, lot easier said and done if you have a job or need to travel the next day.

You need way more than 10 days to develop a habit. Just be consistent and don't give up.

This is bullshit, @Weir don't force yourself to have naps, some people needs naps some doesn't. Try few days with and without napping and see what suits you better.

    This is 100% true.

Until 2 weeks ago I was eating junk food for like 90% of my meals and I was staying up whole night. I was constantly tired and in a bad mood.

But for last 2 weeks I'm eating healthy, no sugars at all, very low carbs ( keto diet) and I'm doing intermediate fasting. I'm doing keto because I want to lose weight. In last 2 weeks I lost 5kg. If you don't want to lose weight you don't need keto, just completely cut off intake of refined sugar and junk food. Intermediate fasting and regular fasting is also good for loosing weight but it is also very good way to keep your body healthy. You should google more about this and if you want to try it you should probably check with your doctor before doing it, because it is not advised for people with some medical conditions.

Another thing that I did is I go in bed around 9 PM, set alarm for 6 AM and I usually fall asleep in 40 minutes. I can't just shut off my brain and go to sleep :D

I wake up as soon as I hear alarm (sometimes I even wake up before alarm, around 5 AM).

Purpose of me waking up right away is to hold myself accountable and disciplined. That is the reason why I am successful with my diet. Few times I took a cookie and looked at it and just said "Naah" and putted it back. Because I know if I take one cookie, it would not be a big deal but I will probably tomorrow take another one, thinking that it is also not a big deal, just a cookie right? But that is how you start fucking your diet up.

Same thing is with waking up. Before this I would need 10 alarms to wake me up, now I only set one alarm and hold myself accountable to wake up on that one alarm.

I also started to work more, improve my english and soon I will start going to gym.

I'm full of energy thru whole day and I'm at least 5 times more happier than before. (Ofc first few days were not like that).

So my advice is start eating healthy and sleeping 7-8 hours a day. But for that you need self discipline!

Still I doesnt nap I am just fullfilling my last night sleep by sleeping at 9. & today is worst.

I won't eat any junk food for night not even Jam & Bread.

Last Year I also lost lots of weight but I am now focusing on making money & correcting my sleeping habits.

I will minimize use of refined sugar. I am thinking of fasting every week but just don't want burden my self doing too much at once. I want to start with repairing my 1st 10 habits.

I am failing to go to bed at 10 pm forget 9. But I will be positive & will do anything possible to achieve 10 PM goal.

Now I am seriously confused between Alarm & No Alarm :)

I will also go to gym by earning money here On IM

    I am working on self-discipline.

Thanks for your great & Insighful Answer. I am very happy to have a member like you in this forum.
