    Hello,
From today onwards I want to change my self and my habits completely. Just deleted all the useless torrent from PC and seedbox. Put my phone into Digital Detox for 12 hours. This is my 1st journey here so yeah I also wanted to earn money.

    My Goals:
    1. Sleeping on time 10 PM daily
    2. Waking Up before 5 A.M
    3. Exercise ( will join the gym later)
    4. Free me from all time-wasting activities
    5. Daily 12 hours of DD (digital detox) no matter what
    6. Daily Prayer
Why I am creating this thread here Because I am reading on this forum for a long time but I never participate much. I know you guys will support me no matter what. I want to be more active from now onwards. & I am starting my full-time IM journey with changing my bad habits. I will try to report to you daily whether I do good or bad. I will create more journey threads for income-related in different threads. I didn't write about my fucked up habits from past because I know it's of no use. I want to be practical Its 6 October 2019 today. And I want to bring changes into me no matter what!

    Thanks for reading

I will for sure. Thanks for the support. And one more query. How can I edit my thread title? I have done terrible grammar mistake there :)

I am thinking to take a nap in the afternoon. Will it be any good?

Humans are designed to take a short nap, just don't overdo it. and do keep it under control If you wake up early enough nap will help your body to combat invisible stress that accumulates with the time.

From my experience I've developed a habit to eat once a day (yes it's just a habit) I do have up to 2 small bites here and there but I take my main single meal a day around 12:00, after that if I feel bit tired I'm taking a nap. Time to nap vary, it may be at 13:00 but never late than 15:30. Usually it's just 1 Hour, soft limit for me 1/30, hard limit - 3Hours but is really an exception. Key thing is to find a balance that will be right for you, keep limits under control and do not stress your body to stay productive on the long run.

    Good Luck!

part of bad habits is making a list of it and not doing it :( I hope you could keep up with that or else you will just add 1 more to your list.

See if you can add cold showers to your list. It helps you recover faster after the long workout sessions + keeps you energized throughout the day.

I too am working on bettering my self.
    Just some suggestions.
Don't do it all at once start slowly.
Don't skip a good habit 2 days in a row.
If you miss one thing from your routine don't be hard on yourself just make up your mind to get the rest of things done.
+1 for cold showers (If you like to try).
Don't do all the things just because people say its good. Pick good habits which suits your lifestyle.

I am not seeing any edit button to edit my own thread to add more to the list as per the recommendations of the BHW family.

    I am adding here

    7. Taking cold showers daily
    8. Following list of habits & update it daily

    Best of lucks mate !!

Keep it focused and take it slow, workout and changing sleeping habits can be hard at the beginin, so do not torture yourself if you cannot make it in the beginin.

Also pay attention to your meals, eating healthy is almost as important as sleeping well and keeping your body fit.

    to setup new habit..

1-3 Days: Use your willpower, motivations, etc..
3-12 days: Create proper environment to make it easy to establish new habit..
.. Do not rely on motivation any longer, it may let you down. it usually will at this stage..
.. Create "nested habits" AFTER I do "one" I"LL do "two"
12-30 days: Discipline. This can be used for the limited time as well as it usually fail best of us at the most important moments..
.. Don't break the pattern.. If so happens you've break your new habit establishment, not to worry, just make sure it won't happened tomorrow. Make sure you never break the pattern for more than 1 single day! use calendar. This actually works, speaking from experience.

After 30 days if you have followed all the rules mentioned above your new habit should be formed. From that point it should be easier for you to stick with the routine rather than skip it.. Congratulations!

Basics of the subconscious mind workflow... :) Hope it helps..

When i started out in Marketing (about 2016ish) i started to take "powernaps". They usually last for 15-20 minutes. I think this might work wonders for you! I was always using my phone as an alarm clock and set a 15 minute timer and a 20 minute timer (in case i fall asleep again) - It takes a good while to get used to it (like 20 or 30 days approx.) but someday you will wake up after 15 minutes without even needing the alarmclock. And it's pretty refreshing as well, just try it out for a couple of days and see how it works out for you.

Unusual journey you got here. But I wish you the best and I think most if not all of us would need to do the same.

    Its time for the report.

Yesterday I woke up all night and the amount of guilt is overloaded me and I made this thread. I am now reporting after 24 hours & believe me its good to share with awesome guys like you. I got tremendous support. I hope you guys will surely help me to make my goal into a habit.

    So my goals were

    1. Sleeping on time 10 PM daily
Result: Yesterday I went to sleep after 12:30 AM & woke up before 5 AM. Slept less than 5 hours. I will try to cover it in powernap this afternoon. Because I am today also starting my IM Journey

    2. Waking Up before 5 A.M
    Done.

So now I have left with 7 other goals. I will surely report to you about that tonight.
