I have an online service, which downloads torrents for users on the cloud, and upload them to their personal drive. Something very similar to zbigz dot com.
I have spent around ~3 months building this thing, it's completely functional & automated and runs well. I then tried to promote it on reddit, and facebook ads. It slowly started making progress, but soon after my reddit account got banned after a wave (around a month ago, many users complained), and my facebook ad coupons expired.
The website currently has 125 users, with the stats below (I use fb for analytics since I was using fb ads) :
As my service offers paid subscriptions, I only had a single subscriber on the 1st month after launch. I should let you know that all of that was achieved with almost no backlinks, no spamming, no aggressive marketing, basically just around a month of messing around in reddit and on facebook ads. Yet it has many active free-loading users currently. Here is cloudflare traffic from last month :
I'd like someone to come in and help grow this, I know it has potential as it fulfills a pretty strong market need. The special thing about my service is that I would gladly fight a legal battle for it. I have made many precautions, terms of service, and privacy notices. As I TECHNICALLY do not store any illegal files on my servers, all of it is directly on the users' google drive, meaning both my app and google are not responsible for its contents, with my privacy terms indemnifying the business from being liable for them. Think of it like "uTorrent on the cloud". While I know it's still a very grey area internationally, but the concept is that because the service is "legal", I was think marketing it aggressively might work in a "viral" way. Here are google keywords I have so far with 0 marketing :
One other disclaimer you might have already deduced, I am not very rich to be able to afford some sort of mass marketing. I can write very good quality blogs, but honestly this website has taken a LOT of my time, and I'd rather do things I'm good at, like maintaining and adding features to it. I would also would like to see ROI before I decide to allocate more time on this. Which is why I want a partner to commit to this business, while I honestly feel 50/50 is a bit unfair for the time I've committed, but it's either that or the thing dies in 2 months because I can't afford to keep the VPS active. So if someone has SEO skills, brand building, social media marketing, I have the best automated website that can be marketed both through ads for free users and through paying subscriptions, with a very lucrative niche that I am sure can grow viral.
