I told my friend that I am doing IM and I am earning some money and all.
After some days he got some free pass for an IM seminar and he took me as a guest. They were a Utah based group named on line stores or something like that.
They talked about doing drop shipping and selling normal commodities which was different from affiliate marketing.
They claimed to be providing a free website user interface allowing you to easily set-up our e-commerce site.
I knew affiliate marketing already, but this was something else,it was like contacting directly with the vendor and then selling that product through on-line.I tried convincing that I can create website for him,but he was adamant on signing up for it and eventually did.
We have 3days to cancel our subscription and ask for a full refund.
They also said they will help meeting up with vendors who will do drop shipping when the sales are made on-line by us.
I tried affiliate marketing and knew it already.
I just want to know is it worth going for it or should I cancel my subscription?

It really depends what you really want to do with your marketing.

Affiliate marketing is a lot less stressful, because you don't have to deal with customers, vendors or dropshippers

E-commerce sites take more work, but they can be very successful, because you can get a higher payout per unit. Although it takes longer to get everything up and running.

An e-commerce can be profitable for the long-term, with the ease of outsourcing, but affiliate marketing is quick and easy to set up.

If I were you, I'd go, because it's a new experience, and you might learn something to pursue in the future.

    Best of luck!

Yep, well-said MarketingMagician, I would add my vote to attend it as well.
I don't know if I'd recommend making your business splash with a drop-shipping-
required 'hybrid' online store, but I believe the price to be inexpensive
    for the prospect of education.

Just know also going in that they're going to try to sell you and your friend
at the end and you'll have to determine if you're going to take any further
    steps with them.

Personally, at this stage in your career, I wouldn't spend anything else on top of that initial $58 investment.

I wouldn't even spend that $58 personally. Most of that price is gonna be for that rubbish sounding online system, and it just screams pyramid scheme: "we have this amazing product, so good we need you to sell it for us, while paying us for the honour! Make millions doing nothing!"

A little late but if you listen closely to the seminar you would have heard that they repeatedly tell you what they are NOT going to do. They tell you what you CAN do. They DO NOT tell you that they will do it.

    Basically, the same is this...

...find a much of suckers who know nothing about the Internet. Sell them a $5/mo hosting service for $3000/yr PER domain.

They will even finance the $3000/yr with a "no qualification" loan.

If you're quick, they'll be willing to give you hosting for two domains for only $5000/yr.

They will NOT create the website for you. But they will provide you with templates for websites you can create your own. What is the quality of the templates? Basically the same that comes with the deluxe version of any cpanel hosting under Fantastico.

What about the professional cart system they'll provide so you can set up your own store? Again, comes free with most cpanel Fantastico hosting.

What about the "valuable" resources they'll offer on dropshippers? Google dropshippers and then take a look at this "valuable" resource. Hmmm...looks similar.

I was curious about this myself and attended one. It was pretty slick. They were very careful how they worded things. I saw people line up ready to throw money at them because they were offering a "no qualification" loan to help pay for this.

You might want to google this company and see the thousands of complaints on them.

Hope your friend got his money back.
